We’d love to welcome you to our stunning guest suite set in the village of Cemaes, a former schoolhouse you will be staying in what was originally the school cloakrooms! Cemaes is close to the historical town of Machynlleth and Snowdonia National Park. Beautiful views await you along with lots of things to do and see. Whether walking, biking or just enjoying a lunch in a pretty town or visiting tourist interests there is plenty to do here. The Dyfi Valley is a designated UNESCO Biosphere.

Colwyn Bay station is a 15 min walk. Llandudno, walks for all abilities and beautiful beach. Snowdonia, Conwy, Anglesey and Betws-y-Coed are all an easy drive. There’s a zoo nearby and children’s play areas will be along the Prom and a new sandy beach from June. Just a 5 min walk away. Your Co-Host Julie is a Welsh speaker.

Close to Zip World, various National Trust properties, Castles and great walking and climbing. 2 separate bedrooms each with double bed and shared bathroom. Starting from the property you take numerous walks and have mountain bike trails and salmon fishing on your doorstep.

Set within a quiet courtyard Ty Llwyd is part of the former Bala workhouse, dating from around 1836, a recently renovated 3 storey Victorian terrace. Bala is nestled in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park where you can find an abundance of truly stunning landscapes to explore from the doorstep. Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) is a short walk from the house, with all local amenities pubs, shops, cafes within 200 yards.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo is a 5 minute drive or a minibus ride from the train station. We are based on a quiet road and a sea view from the garden.
