It has beach access, which is a short walk from the house. Burke Mountain is 16 miles from Island Pond which has summer mountain biking and winter skiing. The property has lots of room for parking trailers, snowmobiles, ATVs and boat. Boat launch 1 mile from house. It is on the VAST snowmobile trail system and the Island Pond VASA trail system.

Our cabin is situated in Brunswick, Vermont, directly across from the Silvio O. Conte Wildlife Refuge within the Nulhegan Basin. We are strategically located between Island Pond, Vermont and North Stratford, New Hampshire. We have access to thousands of acres of public land open to fishing, hunting, hiking, bird-watching, bicycling, and more!
Cabin 5's large deck opens out onto a very unique rock feature. Hawk Rock Cabins are located on the site of an old granite quarry (hence the name Quarry Road). Cabin 5 sits on the edge of an enormous granite mound which is dotted with huge abandoned granite blocks. The full sized kitchen is complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove and coffee maker. Enjoy radiant heat in the floors and two full size bedrooms with queen beds. One full-sized bath. There is a pull out couch to sleep 2 more in the living room. All cabins have BBQ grills, fire pits, radiant heat, televisions, linens and fully-equipped kitchens including coffee maker, microwave, cookware and tableware. Our fully furnished, heated log cabins sit on more than 2,600 acres of private woodland in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. We are just nine miles north of East Burke, Vermont, home of the Burke Mountain Ski Area and the world-famous Kingdom Trails mountain bike center. Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 private acres that are close to major ATV and snowmobile trails as well as the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means a primitive experience, the cabin is in the woods and all that being in the woods will bring. A visit by everything from rabbits to coyote or a pesky deer fly. You may even see deer grazing early in the morning.
