We are 2 minute walk to the great walking trails and views of York Redoubt, 7 minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and more. 15 minute drive to downtown Halifax, and 40 minutes from the Halifax airport. Perched high on an ocean hillside, built on 30 ft tall steel legs, the cozy quarters above are akin to an old ship’s cabin. With 360 views at 30ft up you can chart the sun and stars across the sky, set your rhythm to the ebb & flow of the tide and scout the surf from above. Greet the evenings with a cozy woodstove, sunset with drinks on the deck, moonrise with a dip in the hottub & mornings with fresh espresso. Permit yourself to depart land for a while and come stand watch at The Tower.

Oceanside Home within the City; A Cycle Away!

This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Waterfront Retreat

Welcome to privately located waterfront camper, only 20 minutes drive from Halifax. Great place to hide away and relax or enjoy water activities on tidal river with ocean access. Bring your kayak or use ours. To preserve the natural habitat of local wildlife, landscape is minimal. Shoreline is accessible but rocky, walk with caution. Camper is well stocked, however, if anything is needed the host is nearby to help. WiFi and Roku is available. No cable TV
