Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

Sades Loft is located in a fairytale cottage in the heart of downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea. The upstairs loft has its own private entry on Ocean Avenue. Open your front door and explore downtown Carmel or take a 5 minute stroll down to the beach. Once a VIP room where Hollywood & local legends gathered late into the night, today, the Loft is a relaxing spot where you can listen to soft music from the restaurant below or watch passerby's buying old fashioned candy from the Cottage of Sweets.

You can sit and enjoy the sound of the waves while relaxing. It is a 1 minute walk to Carmel River Beach and just a mile to downtown Carmel, Ocean Avenue, with its unique shops and galleries.

Fancy-Free by the Sea

Petite but sweet studio built by our grandfather, Chaz, in 1940. It is one of four units formerly known as Piney Woods Lodge, where our grandparents welcomed travelers for years. We're excited to return Francy Free to its roots and hope you will join us (two sisters) in continuing their legacy. Studio is ground-level, easy to access and a short (1/2 mile) stroll through the woods to downtown and iconic Carmel beach.

Step into this charming, quintessential Carmel Cottage located close to downtown Carmel. Easily accessible and set back on a corner lot, you'll be centrally located to all Monterey Bay has to offer. You're a short walk to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, as well as within walking distance to the beach. Truly a zen-like experience, we can't wait for you to stay in our beautiful home.

Two-minute walk to south end of Carmel Beach. At the southern border of Carmel's golden rectangle. Modern and newly renovated one-bedroom apartment with separate entrance. Peek of ocean. Well appointed. Bottom level of our house. (We live upstairs and are usually available if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable!)

Short walk to the Lodge at Pebble Beach

AS OF JANUARY 1 2026 the PEBBLE BEACH COMPANY will greatly restrict SHORT TERM RENTALS. From what I understand we will be able to rent our guest house short term up to 3 times a year . So if you are interested to stay for CONCOURS or AT&T feel free to contact me .( we will have a 6 day minimum for both of these events) THANK YOU
