The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You wake up from your antique bedroom suite pour a cup of coffee and walk out onto the deck to look over the beach below beyond the waters of Kootenay lake. Kayaks and Paddle boards or a little fishing as well. There are quite a few books here perhaps pick one and lie on the beach in that comfy lounger. Twenty minutes up the lake is Kokanee Springs golf course perhaps a round of golf. Your neighbour above the beach is a pair of eagles
