Also within walking distance is The Botanical Gardens, Sunset Rock, and Kelsey-Hutchinson Park. There are several trails directly accessible from the doorsteps of this creek side sweet spot. Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bath 900 sf cottage. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and an additional trundle bed, located in the main room, which comfortably sleeps 2 people. The main room has a living space as well as an adjoining kitchen and dining area. Conveniently located between Highlands and Cashiers North Carolina, guests can enjoy the amenities of both towns as well as nearby hiking at Whiteside Mountain & Glenville lake.

The Wildflower

Enjoy a relaxing experience at this centrally-located spot, away from the hustle and bustle but only 6 min from Clemson (10 min from Clemson University), nestled in the country in a peaceful, safe neighborhood with lots of privacy surrounding. The cottage has a front porch with 2 chairs, a 2 person hammock, grill, and a fire pit (wood is provided) with three lawn chairs. There’s a queen bed and also a CordaRoy beanbag (*bed #2) that opens up to a soft bed that sleeps 1 adult or two children.

Floor to ceiling shiplap, 17 ft. ceilings, hardwoods, reclaimed barn wood, custom fixtures, heated marble/slate bath floors, tankless water heater, gas fireplace, porch, Wifi, TV, washer/dryer, kitchenette. Beautiful gardens! Classic Highlands charm with modern comforts! Hike, fish, shop, or relax!

Brookside Cottage

Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Relax & enjoy the beautiful views of lake Hartwell from the front porch daybed swing, hot tub, or private dock. Sleep in a king size bed wrapped in cool cotton linens, a towel warmer, soaking tub with TV, & a breville espresso maker. Located w/i 10 minutes of many restaurants. Less than 20 min. to downtown Anderson Pendleton or Clemson. This prime location on lake Hartwell is a 10 minute boat ride to Portman Shoals Marina, the Galley restaurant, & Green Pond Landing.

The Crane Cottage in downtown Cashiers

This cottage is a private home on Cashiers Lake; walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars, minutes to golf courses, hiking trails and trout fishing, the perfect year round get-a-way with a key location and utmost charm. To all of our guests for 2024- FYI : The private lake that is the back drop to our house will be empty all year due to the owner’s development. Rain will allow it to look full at times. We are conveniently located 10 miles from I-85 exit 1 on S Hwy 11. 20 minutes from Clemson, 8 minutes from Seneca, and just a short drive to many hiking trails, lakes and parks in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.
