The Adelaide Hills is a refreshingly relaxing place to explore in Summer in the cool of the Hills; and winter wineries, open fireplaces, historic sites and warm, stone buildings of which Tara Stables is one. Built in the 19th century, this delightful abode offers warm, romantic vibes as you cosy up between the colourful stone walls and beneath the open rafters. Spacious rooms offer plenty of space and the outdoor courtyards are great to sit around the firepit and soak in the country air.

The property runs down to the banks of the Onkaparinga River with a large waterhole and rock escarpment. The cottage sits a the top of the property with views over the landscaped edible art garden. Located within 6 kilometers of Woodside and minutes away from renowned wineries and restaurants such as Bird in Hand, Barristers Block, Petaluma, and Lobethal Road. Our beautiful studio apartment is positioned away from the main residence ensuring privacy at all times. The studio overlooks a beautiful lake with its own island accessible via a bridge.
