Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Welcome to the Browns Point Duplex, comfortably appointed with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month (we offer discounted rates for stays of 1 week or longer). Convenient to SeaTac airport and the Tacoma Dome. The perfect base for exploring Tacoma, Seattle and Mt Rainier. Also convenient to JBLM and the colleges. If you have to work or stay connected, we have outfitted a dedicated workspace upstairs. The property includes high speed internet, 2 flat screen TVs and an outside patio.

This space was repurposed as a guest room in 2019 and includes a bathroom (with a very roomy shower) and a kitchenette (sink, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig, toaster). Two matching twin beds can be made up as a king-sized bed. There is one additional twin (inflatable) bed if needed for a third person.
