Perched in the Historic and timeless town of Silver Plume. One is just feet from friendly hiking trails that take you to spectacular views of this Historic Silver mining country. The home is 50 miles west of Denver and a 12 minute drive (10 miles) to Loveland Ski Area, 30 minutes to Summit County with more skiing. This is great for a weekend getaway. Silver Plume is a Historic Victorian mining village, with an elevation is 9100 feet above sea level. The cottage was built in the 1860's.

This 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is just one block south of Main Street and a few blocks west of the Arkansas River. The bungalow has just the basics for those looking to unplug for a bit. This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. Now I love sharing it with others. Rustic and affordable- for those who don't need fancy, but like being close to town

The area abounds with activities: hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, or relaxing in town at one of the breweries. The hot springs are also nearby for a day of soaking after your activities.

Kodiak Lodge is located up above Idaho Springs, Colorado, on a 4 acre plot bordering national forest land. Hiking trails start just across the private bridge. A warm, mid-century modern decor sets off the panoramic views of the mountains from both floors by day, and power shades give privacy at night. High end furnishings and creature comforts create a relaxing retreat. The bunk room features two queen and two twin bunks. The master features cozy parachute bedding.

Denver Library archives have a picture of the house dated 1864. Central City is full of history and used to be the richest square mile on earth in gold mining. Numerous attractions, beautiful natural attractions, historic sites, and sports activities all year round.

Our charming little cottage is filled with both historic and modern details and in a prime downtown location that truly can't be beat! It's on a quiet, residential street that the local deer visit daily, and also just three blocks from the heart of the action that BV has to offer. We include all of the basic toiletries, linens, kitchen wares, WiFi, a smart tv, games and endless coziness. Plenty of parking out front and a small yard in the back.

Come join us on our 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. This cottage is unique with custom tile work, and handmade barn doors. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain views, and watch the wildlife roam the property. Your host family lives on property across the driveway and is happy to help should you need anything. We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats due to other guests allergies.
