Original site of Mrs Pratchetts Sweetshop in Roald dahl's autography "Boy." This historic 19th century, listed property is designed as a home away from home to accommodate large groups for family gatherings, stag/hen do's, weddings etc. Situated in a quaint area not far from Llandaff Cathedral, Llandaff Meadow and the river Taff, as well as a number of family run pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. This stone built single story little cottage is set in a court yard that was part of the farm that supplied food for the Marquess of Bute at Cardiff Castle just half a mile away. This charming old cottage was probably an animal barn. A Perfect quiet location in the centre of the vibrant city. it has its own WIFI. Please note that it is NOT Blackweir Terrace (which is about 200 yards the other side of the road) but Google maps have overruled me! See directions after you book.
