Stay in the country and still eat well. We pay your first $40 for meal delivery per visit, $10 per day after. Pool included for $25 per stay to help with maintenance and chemicals. Trade traffic jams for 2 lane country. Only 10-20 min from downtown. But what we call “going to town” is driving to Flinstone for gas or church. Our cottage guests enjoy sitting on the porch overlooking the beautiful pond, taking a leisurely 1/2 mile walk around our pond or sit on the dock fishing, or just listening to the fountain sounds like a waterfall. Remarkable privacy and calm: our little cabin is TRULY a getaway. This acreage is nearly untouched forest, where small paths lead down through plentiful mountain laurel, hardwoods and fantastical sandstone boulders that make Lookout Mountain a climbing destination. McLemore is 5 minutes away, and some of North GA and AL’s best state parks are short drive away. Deep on a rural drive and nestled against protected conservation property, the wildlife and stars easily outnumber the humans.

Cozy cottage on Weiss Lake with lake access from April to October (with large dock.) The four seasons porch overlooks the lake during full pool (Mid to Late April- Mid October) and a sun porch overlooks the front garden. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths which sleeps 6 adults comfortably. The home is decorated in a cottage style. Full kitchen and bathrooms stocked with towels. Home has a strict NO SMOKING policy and pets are not allowed without prior approval (fee will apply).

This lake view cottage is walking distance from Civitan Park, Brown's Creek launch, a Mexican restaurant and a grocery store. The driveway is accessible from the road and alley, which makes it ideal for parking up to three pick-up trucks with boat trailers. It has two TV's, one in the living room, and one in the master bedroom, plus high speed WiFi. The screened porch is furnished and provides a great spot to relax and enjoy our wonderful north Alabama evenings!
