Every room is a delight of bespoke joinery and high quality fittings. Built in 1793 and in the centre of Gunnerside Village, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. The sound of the river welcomes you as you step though the front door, but all is tranquil inside.

Richmond has everything you need for a fabulous break.

Penny Bank Cottage is located within the heart of Dent and provides a perfect retreat for a holidaying couple. It benefits from being in a central village location with everything easily at hand. The ground floor features an open plan kitchen/lounge with television, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Upstairs there is one double bedroom with fine views. Shower room toilet and basin. A reserved space on a nearby (350m away) private car park is included. The public car park has EV chargers.

And if you’re lucky you might see the red squirrel’s .
