Situated in an oak grove, adjacent to the state park, and surrounded by a native plant garden, the cottage is the perfect place to unwind and listen to the birds (and wild peacocks) sing. Welcome to "The Captains Cottage" in the charming Alamitos Beach neighborhood. This 100 year old duplex cottage is walking distance to many fun shops and eateries. 5 minutes on foot to Bixby Park overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This cottage has a private rear patio space to relax after a day of shopping or beach time. Kitchen is equipped to prepare meals if you wish. But there are many dining options within walking distance. This home is not wheelchair accessible. No pets and no smoking.

Little Funky Beach House with Yard

This is your little home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped, with full size stove, dishwasher, and fridge. Full size tub and shower as well as side by side washer and dryer. Small, grassy area plus cozy outdoor dining space with seating. Many (easily 10-12) nice restaurants within half a mile. Beach and sunset watching a close 3 blocks away. The Redondo Beach Pier is approx 4 blocks away. It's on PCH so you will have easy access to public transportation if needed.
