Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. Cabin overlooks one of the best trout streams in the World with stairs down to the river with a deck overlooking the river. Outside the Cabin is a deck overlooking the river with an antler chandelier. Next to the cabin is a large, tiled patio that is set up with a fireplace and barbecue. We have trees, trails galore, wildlife, huckleberry pickin, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking, hunting, and more..fine dining to family fixins. Plenty to experience or simply relax, breathe and take it all in at the cabin!

B&L Cabin, Cabinet Mountain Base Camp and Retreat

This cozy 576 sq ft cabin is perfect for your next Montana getaway! A bathroom with shower, soap, kitchen, and porch with mountain views through the trees, you'll have no problem just enjoying some alone time! Enjoy hammocks among the trees or sit on the porch and enjoy trees. The water heater is small, 5 gallons so showers need to be short. Sorry, that is the only size we could get in there. There is no oven, but there is a 2 burner, nice hot plate and an air fryer.

A SMALL YURT TUCKED IN THE WOODS

You will be staying in our Guest 14ft Yurt located on 13 acres of birch groves. Our location is about 20 minutes to the base of Schweitzer and town. The Guest Yurt comes complete with queen bed, two burner stove, small fridge, desk, and wood fire. Bring your slippers! Winter time conditions could require 4 wheel drive or AWD when the snow is present.

Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres

Stay in a restored 1909 train car, with a sauna and hot tub. Set amid forest and wheat fields with beautiful views. Spectacular night skies and lots of solitude round out the experience. This car ran on the Washington Idaho & Montana Railway from 1909 until around 1955. It was, (and is), car number 306, bought new from the American Car and Foundry Co.

The lookout is open year round with a wood fired stove to keep warm at night or heat your morning coffee. A wood fired sauna sits below to relax and rejuvenate your body after a big hike or snowshoeing adventure. What's that other little wooden building? No fire lookout is complete without an outhouse!
