Pet-friendly, backing onto forest trails, and near Albury/Wodonga with its shops, restaurants and cinemas, as well as historical Yackandandah and Beechworth, it's a must for those who love to walk, run, bike, ski or simply explore or relax - like us!

Conveniently located beside the Albury Base Hospital and Regional Cancer Centre you will find Brightside. Just moments from Central Albury, with the airport 2 km away, Brightside offers you a quiet, clean place to relax during both short and longer stays. A quick 4 minute walk away, you will find local amenities including a supermarket, chemist, newsagent and butcher, a pub and restaurants serving delicious meals. Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Parks are both walking distance.

The Ruffled Rooster

A cosy unit that has everything you need but it's the seclusion shared with an olive grove ,sheep and poultry that is what makes this place unique. A true nature experience . Situated midway between Melbourne and Sydney it is ideal stop over. Ideally located to the snow, wineries, gourme region, lakes or for just chilling. A two-level studio cottage in a gorgeous, cool climate garden: a perfect getaway for two. Beautifully refurbished. The cottage is self-contained and includes a queen bedroom opening to a private deck with barbecue overlooking our Open Gardens Victoria-listed garden. Downstairs is a sitting room, opening to a garden terrace, a separate kitchen with induction cooktop and bathroom. Beechworth, a historic, 19C, gold-era town, is 4km away.

The cottage is fully self contained from the main house .You will have your own private BBQ and sitting area to enjoy during your stay. We are only a short drive to Beechworth and Yackandandah . Ideally located to visit all the historic surrounding areas.

Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.
