Sunny Inverness Cottage

Private and peaceful guest cottage in the Seahaven neighborhood of Inverness. It is 15 minutes from ocean beaches, bay swimming and the restaurants and shops of Point Reyes Station. This comfortable and clean one bedroom, one bath cottage is located down a long driveway that is shared by the main house and is surrounded by forest. Walls of windows in the bedroom and living room let in light and forest views, but the orientation of the house allows for privacy. The living room has a wood burning stove, small kitchen (oven, stove, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster), small TV with cable and DVD, wireless internet, a deck with table and radiant floor heating. The bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom has a full bathtub with shower and the toilet is in an adjoining room. Towels and linens are provided. Two sides of the property border the state park, and the cottage is only minutes from beaches on Tomales Bay. Maximum occupancy is 2. No pets. No Smoking. 1 night minimum. Please give us at least two days notice for bookings.

Riley Beach Cottage sits on stilts just a few feet above the east shore of Tomales Bay. The great room, master bedroom, hot tub and northwest facing redwood decks all provide land's end views of Point Reyes National Seashore across this pristine estuary. With its own beach for launching kayaks or just doing nothing, this cottage has been a favorite due to its proximity to the water, front-row views of nature and simplicity. Overlooking a fern grotto and redwood valley, The Perch, our newly renovated room lets you experience nature up close. Come unwind and luxuriate in nature. Limited cell service. The room INSIDE has a bed, toilet, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, and electric hot water kettle. OUTSIDE a claw foot tub/shower, private deck & outside kitchen with a gas burner stove. Very rural.
