Nestled in the heart of the Kenai Mountains, Renfro's Lakeside Retreat is located on emerald green Kenai Lake. Renfro's offers five unique cabins which are located on the lake. Renfro's offers spectacular views of huge snow capped mountains and a 30-mile long lake. This pristine retreat has the feel of true wilderness and yet is located only 20 miles from Seward. This means you are within driving distance of the activities people want to see and experience while on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Cowboy Cabin

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Maximum of 4 (with extra guest fees). * There is 1 Outdoor Security Camera on the garage of the Main Home for safety Treed property, very quiet neighborhood, wildlife: moose, bears, lynx Kitchen, Laundry washer dryer 1 bathroom with shower. 1 Cozy Bedroom with full bed. One room cabin is close to town and shopping but located directly between the Kenai and Kasilof rivers and 30 minutes from Deep Creek Halibut fishing. This private cabin sits at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small, dog friendly neighborhood with Alaska's wilderness at it's back. No smoking. Pets welcome. RV parking upon request
