Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Also visit these great outdoor attractions such as the Cumberland Falls, Perryville and Mill Springs Battle Fields, float the Rock Castle River, boat Cumberland Lake or just relax at Laurel Lake beach, or just stay near the cabin and watch the horses go by. Lastly, ask about the local pastry, you won't be disappointed!

We provide an escape that is situated near a spring lake with beautiful mountain views. It is located just over 11 miles off of the I75 exit. During the day you can find yourself searching out some local activities such as Cumberland Falls, Colonel Sanders Museum... When you're ready to relax; just sit back, make a campfire to roast marshmallows or fire up the barbecue grill! This is a former paylake and no longer used for fishing except when private events have booked the entire property.
