Set at the end of a quiet, forested street just off Hwy 26, this cozy cabin offers solitude surrounded by majestic beauty. With a rustic wood and handmade tile interior, the cabin has a classic feel with modern convenience. Outside, the mountains offer visual serenity, and the river creates a dreamy audio ambiance that drowns out road noise and makes it an ideal space to truly "get away".

We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek
Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

The Woodlands Hideout
The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
