Private one acre, quiet setting just 80 feet off Sunshine Lake. Take advantage of ice fishing for Rainbow Trout in the winter and snow shoes or cross country skiing through wooded trails. Great snow machine cabin too! Summer months are great for non-motorized boats.

The unit is attached to main house. However it is completely separate and on the other side of a garage. We are located just outside Anchorage on Fire Lake with lake access and year round activities including boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.

This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.
