This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. Surrounded on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest with a long-range mountain view from the deck, adventure awaits right outside the door. Sunbear also has high-speed internet for remote work and a backup generator. Cooler months offer backcountry hiking along creeks chocked with waterfalls off the eastern flank of the cabin. Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
