Once the Danish Armory, this renovated 200-year-old property features original yellow Danish bricks, a grand curved staircase, and preserved old pine floors. Now a 4-unit Airbnb, The Moko Jumbie House reflects the architectural beauty of early 19th-century Christiansted. Estate Lucky Bottom is an 18 acre former Danish plantation established c1746. Its secluded private residence was built in 2004 replicating Danish West Indies architecture of the mid 18th century seen throughout the Territory. Ruins of the windmill and sugar factory are still present. The owners invite guests to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of this magnificent property while acknowledging respectfully the servitude and suffering of the enslaved people who toiled here 200 yrs ago.
