The CANAL ROOM has a king bed (able to convert to 2 twins!), large private bath, refrigerator & sleeps 2 adults. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. Our home is over 100 years old located on a creek in the heart of Hatteras Village. Several shops, restaurants, and the beach are within walking and biking distance. You can even kayak or paddle board to some of the shops and restaurants or just paddle out to the Pamlico Sound. Wake up, have some coffee on the back deck overlooking the creek, and venture out for a day at the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, relax, and still feel right at home, this is your place.

This listing is a 2 bedroom bungalow, with a shared bath in between, all detached from the main house, with a lovely covered deck common area that features an outside fireplace. The rooms are all natural bead-board finished and have reclaimed pine wood floors. We stock the rooms with locally made soaps & Starbucks coffee. It also has a private outside hot/cold shower! We are in walking distance to Olde Town Manteo where you'll find art galleries, restaurants & gift boutiques.
