Suite View at The Sound House

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish, private guest suite on the intracoastal waterway. The guest suite is connected to the main house, but has its own private stairs and entrance, as well as a dedicated parking space. Gorgeous views day and night are enjoyed from the guest suite and the covered patio underneath. It is a wildlife lover's paradise! We are about 20 minutes from Wilmington and 20 minutes from the beaches of Topsail Island. Please note-we do not have a boat dock available.

You will not forget your stay at the River Watch Retreat, and will want to tell your friends. This beautiful cabin offers a full NW view of the Carolina Blue Sky and setting sun on ENC's Trent River. Interior is paneled in locally sourced Poplar with Cedar accents. Beadboard and custom ceramic tile compliment the bathroom. Sleeping options: foldout couch downstairs and futon in loft. *Watch Bald Eagles, Geese, Heron and Osprey from 2 elevated decks a stone's throw from the water!

Ellen's Place

Relax in this cozy studio apartment nestled in the River Bend community. Located within a mile of the River Bend Country Club you have access to golf, a marina, kayak launch, community park, local restaurants and more. Only five miles from historic downtown New Bern, and Tryon Palace, you can enjoy shopping in town or take a 45 minute drive to Atlantic Beach. This quiet retreat is all at ground level with a private patio. It is wheelchair friendly with wide doorways and no stairs.

Centrally located to Camp Lejeune, MCAS, restaurants, shopping and beaches - 25 miles either north or south of Jacksonville. Whether your trip is for business or pleasure, make sure to keep an eye out for the gator in the backyard creek. Camp Lejeune South gate is 1.8 miles, MARSOC 4.3 miles and Stone Bay gate is 6.2 miles away. Beach is 8.3 miles away.
