Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). It is a paradise for those seek to unplug and reconnect to a slower pace of life while experimenting with off-grid living: solar electricity for lights, solar and firewood heating systems, low pressure water system, compost toilet, no mobile or internet networks available inside the house. You will have access to a splash tank, food garden, trekking paths and a small waterfall.

Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.
