I needed a place super last minute due to my job's lodging team being behind on bookings. Ed replied to me immediately and even waited outside with the keys as I slowly drove down his street. It's a secluded room with it's own bathroom and that's all I really needed. Ed is a dedicated man to his community, I am a bit sad I didn't get to interact with him a little more since I was just looking for a bed and right back to work in the AM. I am from originally from NYC so the area didn't really bother me. I've seen it all. I think some of the more bougie, bubble wrapped folks may be a bit skeptical, but everything is fine! And as someone else mentioned, Ed has cameras all over. And I could see my car from my window if that helps. :)

I enjoyed my stay in Ed's house. The appartement was exactly what it look like on pictures. It is a very pretty appartment. I didn't rent a car so I always used Lyft and that was perfect because the house is close to the Downtown so it didn't cost a lot. (execpt for the airport) Ed is an amazing host. He is always there when you need something and I can guess that he loves being a host, he takes his role very seriously and that's very important. I recommand you to go there, you'll love it.

I'm very involved in the community, through both Rotary and the Emancipation Economic Development Council. I was very active in the local response to Hurricane Harvey and even hosted an evacuee family at my Airbnb.
