Loft in the Heights, nestled in San Diego’s historic neighborhood of Logan Heights, this unique 320SF tiny home is situated in a backyard oasis right in the heart of the city. Designed by local architect Lloyd Russell, this bright, airy and spacious one-room “hotel” lets you unwind and relax, while providing a central location from which to take in all that San Diego has to offer. And it’s your very own private micro gallery too!
Built in 2006 the Loft in the Heights is contemporary in design, layout and functionality. With a raised platform bed and large sliding glass doors that make a seamless transition from inside to outside, this space appeals to the artist, adventurer and those seeking a one-of-a-kind experience.
The walls of the Loft in the Heights feature art by local artists, transforming, with a selection of work by one artist showing at a time, the space into your private gallery. The artist featured will change every 6-8 weeks, so there is always something new to sit back and enjoy. Currently on view is the work of San Diego artist James Watts (find James on Instagram at jewattso) with three magnificent recent pieces.
