It's a little challenging to find the place if you're not familiar with LA or constructions going on, the parking structure if you use it is not connected to the place you'll be staying which makes it time consuming to situate before heading out, the additional fees is a little out there with regards to my one night stay. It's a scavenger hunt to find the lock box and when entering the place, there's 2 elevators to choose from, you should go to the further elevator once entering. The hallways were smelly and the place was not as clean as expected for what we paid (brown stains on the linens, sheets) it could use cups, maybe a wine opener, a few homey/accommodating items would make the place worthwhile, and to be chosen over a hotel. Probably won't be doing this again for the price I paid. 238 total on a Saturday night. Adding more thoughtful tools for guest stays would be more accommodating, maybe even a small gift like a water bottle or something small. It's plain and not very welcoming. On a positive note, it had AC, a leather couch I could sleep on, running water, and a nice view.

Their studio apartment is very well located to downtown. Beds was very comfortable. Could use a few amenities like additional towel racks, more breakfast materials especially coffee, better hand soap, bedside reading lamps, kitchen towels, drinking glasses, grab bars in the bathtub which is quite deep, pant's hangers.

Jessie and Sam’s place was a great spot to stay at. It’s a short walk away from great restaurants and museums and a short Lyft ride away from everything else we wanted to do. The place was impeccably clean, the bed’s were comfortable, and the view of downtown was nice also. Jessie and Sam were very hospitable, even quickly answering my questions while they were at a wedding! I definitely recommend this location because it was priced better than any of the hotels in the area.

This place worked for me because of its price and location, but as far as an Airbnb experience it was pretty mediocre. The apartment was clean and the size was as expected for a studio, though the bed and bedding weren't particularly nice (and different from what is pictured). There were some key things missing from this apartment; cooking utensils, cookware, paper towels, ice tray, ironing board... all the things one expects to find in a "home" which is how the hosts describe it. It's pretty clear nobody actually lives here, and that this is just a unit used as a sublet/Airbnb rental. And that's another problem; renting this apartment is in violation of this building's residency agreement, and the hosts go a long way to avoid detection, including using a "dead drop" outside the apartment for the key, and instructions to lie to the front desk and basically make no contact with any of the building management. As a result I felt pretty much like I was in hiding while I was there, and didn't feel comfortable doing things like asking for the wifi password in the business lounge, or asking the front desk for directions or recommendations for food, etc. Maybe this is fine for some folks, but I'm too old for those kinds of shenanigans. Overall it was a little less expensive than other hotels in the area, but it was also less comfortable and ultimately not worth the trouble.
