The good - •Cory's place was comfortable. He lives there (but left while we stayed), so the place is full of interesting books and decor. •There is cable tv and wi-fi. •I enjoyed having a fully stocked kitchen to cook in. •The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. •we broke a dish and he hasn't yelled at me yet (I did tell him and apologize, but it's still a bummer )•the water pressure is good, always a plus. • he left out plenty of towels and wash cloths for us. •bed is comfortable Room for improvement- I didn't meet Cory, as my aunt checked in a day before I did and he wasn't around any other time. He seems nice but does not communicate much. •Because it's his home, it's full of his stuff and we weren't sure what was cool for guests to use and what wasn't. •We had to check in a little late because of a mix up with his cleaning guy •Parking was a major feature in my selection choice, but then there was an update with the management and he wasn't around to fix it, so I had to find street parking a couple blocks away. Normally not a big deal but I was in town for a wedding so had lots of stuff to haul around and late nights, so it was very inconvenient. •The listing had amenities like breakfast, coffee, etc but there didn't really seem to be any thing for guests except two K cups and some Perrier and grapefruit juice. We brought food so didn't mind, but if you are counting on it... •my aunt checked in and has never used airbnb before. She had no idea what to do or how things worked and he didn't really show her where anything was (like toilet paper). My biggest issue was with the lack of communication and instruction. •I had no idea how he wanted me to check out and lock up. If there were instructions, I missed them, which is totally possible. *Nothing major was wrong, just a bunch of little things that could mostly be improved by communicating more/better. Overall, I would say go for it, it's a decent place, but ask him everything you might need to know and he was not very responsive to messages or phone calls.
