My cabin is on a well maintained town (dirt) road a short walk to Blueberry Lake (on National Forest land, non-motorized) and is within 15 minutes of Breadloaf Wilderness Area, Sugarbush Ski Resort, Mad River Glen Ski Area, restaurants and dining, arts and crafts, sports and specialty shops.
It's wooded, quiet, has a light open feeling inside. A great place for privacy and inspiration for creative types and for mellowing out.
Recently remodeled (2016) with new kitchen, new bathroom, new lighting. The main room has a table and 4 chairs, a sofa, an easy chair w/ottoman, a desk with the 32" Wifi HD TV, bookshelves with some books, and a collapsible stand. The down stairs has a bedroom with a dresser and two end tables and a double bed, and an open room with a double bed, shelves, easy chair, a small desk and chair, and a closet. There's a deck off the main room with three chairs. Perfect location for hiking, swimming, biking (Mad River Bike Trails at the lake), star gazing, snowshoeing and skiing.

I live next door and am home much of the time, feel free to say hello or even have a beer and play some music or horseshoes!
During bad storms the power may go out for some period of time, it happens a few times a year, usually just off and on again, a few hours at a time every couple of years. If that happens please don't use much water, especially don't flush the toilet.
I am an artist and musician, gardener, DIYer. I like rambling in the woods, snowshoeing and xc-skiing. My bread 'n butter work is chainsaw carving, and I dabble in clay and stone, and paint and photography. I play accordion, harmonica, guitar, kalimba. I live alone with my cat and I leave this open invitation to my guests to hang out and play music or ramble in the woods, but I don't intrude on them.
