2BR house- the whole place is yours! We take pride in creating a CLEAN and comfortable place for you to call home during your stay- whether for a few days or months. You'll find lots of sunlight, fresh paint, wood & tile floors, and a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. The furnishings and beds are quality and comfortable with colorful patterns and textures. Everything in the home is for your use. You'll find us close to Bethel Church, the River Trail and Downtown Redding.
Upon entering, we often hear people comment on the peaceful atmosphere in the home, thus the name Shiloh House. Shiloh means peace, tranquility and rest in the Hebrew language.
The home is a pleasant 2 bedroom bungalow built in the 1940's. It has all the charm of homes built in that era- wood floors, coved ceilings and plaster walls plus a few updates such as a new heating and cooling system, new kitchen counters and a new stove with a Talavera tile kitchen backsplash.
The furnishings have been thoughtfully selected for quality and comfort as well as a style that is fun and indicative of California's sunny culture. The living room is furnished with a velvety rich wine colored Pottery Barn couch, colorful patterned throw pillows, rugs and curtains. There are plants and authentic artwork about including a hand-painted tile mural of a Spanish mission and lovely talavera tile plates. The beds are comfortable and dressed with bedding from Pottery Barn and World Market. The closets and dressers provide abundant space for you to store your belongings.
