This sun-lit and charming casita is the perfect place to call home after skiing at Taos Ski Valley or hiking in the mountains (13 miles). Only 15 minutes to restaurants, art galleries and many cultural activities. Fits well a family of 4 or friendly adults. Its like a country vacation or retreat yet close to all the activities.
One large room houses the living/kitchen which has a couch, a rocking chair and coffee table. For dinning, there is a bonco with a table. The kitchen area of the room has a microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner hot plate, small refrigerator, dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans. Plus a 4 cup coffee maker, coffee, tea, and a few basics -- salt, pepper, sugar, honey, oatmeal, olive oil & balsamic vinegar. The bedroom with a door has a queen bed with down pillows and comforter. Climb the ladder to the loft for 2 twin comfy futons. The bathroom is very small with a shower. The wi-fi is fiber optics.
There are walking and viewing areas extending beyond the 5 acre property. Fall asleep to the song of the coyotes.
After 2 adults, there is a $10 charge per night per person up to 4 people, 4 years old and up. Children 3 and below are free.
Dogs love it here and are allowed if they are well behaved. We request that they don't get on the furniture or sleep in the bed. There is a $15 fee, payable directly to hosts. If this is agreeable, please let us know you are bringing a dog.
Accès des voyageurs
Guest access is by car only. Because there are two big hills to drive to our place, in the snowy times of the year, all wheel, 4 wheel or good snow tires might be required.
We welcome you. Check in is 3 pm or after. If you have (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map, it will get you to Nighthawk Trail. iMap doesn't work. A day or so before your arrival, we'll be in touch with further directions.
