Nestled on a corner lot in the prestige Portlock neighborhood, this charming four bedroom/3.5 bathroom Villa has just been exquisitely renovated. It is a luxurious, high-end vacation home with an immaculate backyard and top of the line bedding, appliances, furniture, and bathrooms - very, very far from a budget rental! There are plenty of lounge areas throughout the property for the ultimate relaxing island experience! The kitchen is very spacious and beautifully designed with solid wood cabinets and quartz counter tops. It is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, bake, and eat! Each room has its own uniquely luxurious character with all the comforts and amenities, including TempurPedic mattresses, large closets, dimable lighting, central air conditioning and ceiling fans. The living room area has genuine leather Lazy Boy couches, and gorgeous furniture from all around the globe! Colorful art work embellishes the walls throughout the home. There's a huge wide screen TV in the living room with thousands of satellite channels to choose from and also an Apple TV. The Antique China dining room table can seat up to twelve people. Our game room has a pool table and two modern, collapsible sofas so the activities on this magnificent property are never-ending!
The backyard has a BBQ area with an outdoor kitchen and seating area. The pool has very comfortable lounge chairs and a large sunbrella for keeping cool, as well as an original imported King-size Bali House with lots of plush pillows, surrounded entirely by exotic greenery.
It's location, Hawaii Kai, is excellent for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the island with all the luxurious comforts and amenities, but without the hustle and bustle of the city. The famous snorkel mecca - Hanauma Bay - is less than a five minute drive away, and the sunsets are absolutely breath-taking. There's a small beach two blocks away from the Villa, and there are three shopping centers in the Hawaii Kai area. The closest one is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Also, a great place to hike, Koko Head Crater, is very close! You can see the most gorgeous 360 degree view from the top of this crater. And inside of it is a beautiful Botanical Garden with over 50 types of Plumeria trees and flora from all over the world.

Guests have sole access of the property. There is a wall around the perimeter of the lot, with a key access gate. There are wonderful A/C systems in each room and other electronics that make this Villa all the more luxurious! Please help us to conserve energy by turning off all electronics and the A/C upon leaving the house. A refundable security deposit of $1800 is required at the time of booking. An additional deduction will be made to the security deposit for the cost of any unreasonable damage caused by the guests or if the rental will need excessive cleaning, otherwise it will be returned to guests in full. The guest authorizes the owner to charge the guest’s credit card for any damages done to the property that exceed the security deposit. If any deductions are made, the owner will provide the renter with a written statement listing and explaining the deductions. Deductions can be made for the following reasons: to replace/repair any item that is damaged or missing; to replace any keys ($50) or remote controls ($150+) that are not returned; and for any excessive cleaning that needs to be done.
We require guests to fill and sign a rental agreement upon booking. If at the time of check in there are more guests than the online reservation count, a penalty charge of $180 per 'extra' guest per night will be charged.
Please remove sand and shells from bikinis and pockets prior to entering the house and showers, also shake out all beach towels. Thank you so much for understanding!
There is a pool for guests to use, please use the pool only if you know how to swim or are accompanied by someone that does. The POOL IS NOT FENCED OFF. You must watch children at all times and never leave them unattended. Please swim at your own risk as we are not responsible for any injuries or fatalities in the swimming pool.
The BBQ grill is for guests to use responsibly. DO NOT LEAVE GRILL UNATTENDED. When you are done using the grill, remember to shut off the gas by turning the lever on the propane tank all the way to the right.
The tree house is COMPLETELY OFF LIMITS. Do not attempt to climb any trees located on this property.
You can park anywhere on the street, there's plenty of easy, free parking. Please do not park near the fire hydrant or block the garage.
Smoking inside the house is not allowed, but you are more than welcome to do so outside in the yard.
Upon checkout, please remove all the bedding, wash dishes, and dispose of your trash in the large black bin outside. Please be respectful of our lovely Villa by keeping it clean and organized so that we can continue to share this luxurious gem with others visiting Hawaii!

The gardeners come to service the yard every other Friday of the month. The pool cleaner comes every Thursday to clean the pool. We will also notify guests if we have to come on the property to water certain plants...
Also, THE POOL IS NOT FENCED OFF. Please be advised that it is the guests' sole responsibility to swim at own risk and make sure kids are ALWAYS supervised while on the property.
***By law we add a 14% VAT charge, which is a vacation rental tax charge in Hawaii. We also add a 3% service charge. When you inquire about our cottage, we will send you the quote with the added tax charge as Airbnb does not give hosts the option of adding tax to a transaction.***
