An ideal place for people who enjoy camping but fancy some home comforts. You have your own peaceful, comfortable space to relax and cook in. We don't offer breakfast, but we provide free tea bags, coffee, milk, sugar, sachets of porridge and a sweet treat to make you feel welcome. There are beautiful walks and cycles, including Fife's picturesque fishing villages and the atmospheric Kellie Castle. It's only a short drive to the historic town of St Andrews. One and a half hours from Edinburgh.

You will have the summerhouse to yourself. It is in a quiet corner of a large garden. It has basic cooking facilities. There is a camping portaloo in a small toilet tent behind the summerhouse. During the day, you can use the house toilet when we are around. If you need a shower, please arrange a convenient time to use the house shower as we need to make sure there will be enough hot water.

We live in the cottage and the summerhouse is in our garden. We will be available, but not intrusive. We are happy for you to enjoy sharing our lovely garden.
There is no Wifi. Mobile signal is unreliable. There is electricity and running cold water, but no shower. There is a chemical toilet behind the summerhouse, in a small tent. Bedding and towels are provided. There are dishes, cutlery, a kettle, fridge, microwave, single hob and basic cooking equipment. The bed is a double futon. There are two places where you will have to duck or you will bang your head. We will point them out, but please remember to take care each time! Thanks.
Please be considerate of our neighbours in this small, peaceful village.
We have a pond and a log pile which are both potential hazards for young children.
I work part time as a teacher of English to speakers of other languages. My partner, Lewis, was a mental health nurse and has recently taken early retirement. We have enjoyed many happy campervan trips around Scotland, and can recommend great places to visit in this beautiful country. We are lucky enough to have a beautiful garden which we spend lots of time in. We are delighted to be able to share it with visitors. Our dog and our grandchildren also love it! As guests and hosts, we are friendly and interested yet respectful of others' space and privacy.
