The John Howland farm is an iconic 1840s family farm. The farm house has two private suites for guests. The “Butterfly Suite” includes three bedrooms, sitting room with large screen TV, mini refrigerator, private bathroom, and a separate entrance. The "Garden Suite" is fully ADA accessible and includes a bedroom, private sitting area, mini refrigerator, free wifi, and private bathroom. This listing includes both suites as well as the household common areas. This is a whole house reservation.
The farm features historic barns, rolling fields, an organic vegetable, and flower garden, a fishing stream, and over 200 acres of scenic Upstate New York farm land. The farm is perfect for guests looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway while allowing easy access to Ithaca, Owego, Elmira, and Binghamton.

There are a total of three private suites attached to the house. In addition to your private suite, all guests share full use and round the clock access to a shared living room with fireplace, a dining room which seats twelve, a huge eat in kitchen, and three outdoor porches. The kitchen, available 24/7, is modern and has all appliances one needs for anything from simple meal to banquet preparations - just bring groceries. Please make yourself at home!

Behold the breathtaking splendor of New England’s Fall colors during September/October. Build a fire in the outdoor fire pit and cook marshmallows in the back yard. Relax in the back yard hammock during the summer. Pack your cross country skis to enjoy a winter wonderland.
A three quarter mile uphill hike leads to the cabin in the woods. Pack a picnic lunch and spend a quiet afternoon sitting on the cabin porch or in front of the fire.
