We're next to an "L" train stop, so getting around Chicago couldn't be easier!

We know that the key to our success has been setting proper expectations for our guests; each listing on Airbnb is unique and every host has a different hosting style. Our lovely home is the perfect place for you to stay in while you explore all that the city has to offer. We're conveniently located next to a CTA "L" stop, so making your way around Chicago is incredibly easy. The Loop (downtown) is a short 15 minute train ride away. PLEASE NOTE: this room is adjacent to the "L" train tracks. This means you will hear train noise regularly in the apartment and your room.
All three of the rooms in this apartment are available at any time through Airbnb. This means that you'll be sharing the common areas of the apartment with other guests.

We tend to have fairly busy schedules and although we would love to greet each of our guests personally, sometimes that isn't possible. Should this be the case we will send you instructions on how to let yourself into the apartment. We are always on call should you have any questions on arrival or during your stay.

(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps provides excellent public transit directions from our apartment to any point in the city. Our apartment is next to the Armitage brown line train station. Search for “Armitage brown line” in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps, click the “Directions” button, then enter your point of interest.
2. “Is there parking nearby?”
There’s free street parking half a block west of us on N Sheffield Ave.
3. “Will there be other guests in the apartment during my stay?”
We have three rooms in the apartment available on Airbnb and they are typically booked most days. Your room is your own private space but you can expect to share the common areas of the apartment, such as the bathroom, with other guests.
4. “Can you give me a discount?”
We offer weekly and monthly discounts to all guests. This discount is applied automatically during the booking process and is reflected in your total.
5. “I have a third person who wants to stay in the room. Can they sleep on an air mattress?”
We allow a maximum of two guests per room. We have additional rooms available should you need accommodations for additional guests. Let us know if this is the case and we’ll tell you which additional rooms are available for your required dates.

There is a chance you may not be our only Airbnb guest so we ask that you be mindful of anyone else who might be sharing the apartment with you. If you are watching TV in the evening, we ask that you keep the volume at a moderate level. Please no entertaining guests in the apartment after 11:00 pm. Per Airbnb policy, only guests booked through Airbnb can stay overnight with us.
We've been hosts for a few years now and we've had an absolute blast with it. So many interesting and charming people have passed through our doors and thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
