The one-level guest casita is professionally decorated and offers two large bedrooms, each with its own private full bathroom. All rooms open to the pool and feature walls of glass to enjoy the fabulous views. The living room has a vaulted ceiling with beautiful beams and fireplace and contains living, dining and kitchen spaces in an open floor-plan.
Both bedrooms have en-suite full bathrooms and high-quality linens. One bedroom has a Queen Bed. The other has two twin beds that can be made up as a King. In the Great Room, there is a luxury American Leather sofa that converts into a Queen Plus (as long as a king) easy-to-open/close bed. There is an extra rollaway single cot suitable for one person and we have a porta crib for a baby/toddler.
There is extensive seating on the pool patios - a hammock, couches, many chairs with ottomans, two chaise lounges, a large circular couch-bed for two with sun-shade, sunbrella, the pool. Below the pool is a hillside of fragrant lavender. There is indoor dining and a second dining area at a marble table overlooking the pool, under a flower-covered trellis.
Kitchen and cooking facilities: induction cooktop, convection oven & microwave, sub-zero under counter fridge. Additional full size GE side-by-side fridge-freezer and pool bar fridge, plus BBQ with third gas burner.
A woodland stream water-feature will soothe you to sleep with the gentle sounds of a babbling brook.
Wind chimes catch the soft breezes and gently play their melodies.
Depending on the season, pick fresh oranges, tangerines, white and yellow peaches, fuji apples, pears, apricots, nectarines, santa rosa plums, everbearing strawberries, pluots, pecotums, which all grown in the estate's private garden.
There's even a Tesla charger, Direct TV with Premium Movie Channels and High Speed Wi-Fi Internet included.
Weekday Maid service is included, as well as a Miele washer and dryer.
The best beaches and surfing in San Diego are minutes away. Torrey Pines Beach is perfect for walking, running or parasailing. Enjoy golf on the numerous courses close by. Hot air ballooning is another activity to enjoy on your vacation. The property is a short distance to the Del Mar Races, beaches, golf, the Wild Animal Park and LegoLand, and just a bit further to Sea World and the downtown museums.
Restaurants in the area range from a cozy dinner in the Ranch or a night on the town in La Jolla, Del Mar or the Gaslamp District.

What a wonderful place to stay. I know rancho Santa Fe very well and have stayed at all the hotels in the area and several rentals over the years. Nothing compares . I have been staying here for over 3 months with my son and my husband. The casita has everything you would need. It is beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean and well maintained, thanks to the adorable staff that work here. The pool and the grounds are a dream, and I agree with other reviews, one feels they are in a five star resort but with a caring personal touch. I would highly recommend the stay here over anywhere else in Rsf . We have had a long stay here but it has been absolutely perfect in every way!!! Thank you so much for making everything perfect

My husband has had a stressful few months at work in LA, so I decided to book an overnight getaway in San Diego. I picked Casita del Arboles in Rancho Santa Fe because it is close to Solana Beach and La Jolla, which we love. When we arrived at the "Casita" our expecations were immediately surpassed. We felt like we had our own little oasis. A little stream flows into a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi which overlooks a beautiful garden. It was exactly what we needed: a perfect place to "chill". It was a breeze getting to our dinner in Mission Bay before returning to our private retreat. The house was clean, with a nice layout, and came with everything we needed. We can't wait to return later in the year so we can take better advantage of the pool! We're hooked.

A beautiful peaceful property tucked away in exclusive Rancho Santa Fe. This was a wonderful two week stay and we would definitely recommend it. The owners were very accommodating and were completely engaged in making our stay as pleasant , comfortable and memorable as possible. Sincerely committed to create the best experience for their guests, from our welcome to our departure, they went above and beyond to try to please us. Worth noting that this was one of the few properties we have stayed at where housekeeping was included ( and a great job too by a smiling devoted and very accommodating housekeeper). A private and quiet experience only about 20 minutes by car to the beach towns , restaurants and shopping, if you are looking for an inland oasis , this is it.

We enjoyed our stay so much in 2015, we rebooked this January. The estate has tennis courts, pool and a spa (as well as an amazing rose garden). The interior is very luxurious. With maid service thrown in, we always feel as if we are staying in a very upscale resort. We have traveled the world, and the ambiance here equals that of our most favorite vacation spots. The location is secluded but in easy driving distance to all of the wonderful sites in the San Diego area. The best of both worlds. We look forward to booking again and again

The Casita at Los Arboles is wonderful! The home is spacious and architecturally beautiful, the view is stunning and the grounds are as luxurious as a resort. Ellen is a wonderful host, even treating us to honey and oranges from the property.

We actually were not really on vacation but had to move out of our home for an extended time due to some water damage. The owners Ellen and Rand are very warm and made us feel at home instantly and were open to helping out whenever they could whether they were in town or not in town. We have 2 kids (8 & 5) who swim in the pool every day and are learning to play tennis on their immaculate tennis court. We also enjoyed the Jacuzzi immensely. The setting within the beautiful grounds and view of the Rancho Santa Fe hills in the distance is gorgeous and we have spent many relaxing afternoons just enjoying the view, lounging in the hammock, reading a book from the Casita book shelf, listening to what we call the “rushing rivers” water feature which is a very natural looking water feature that empties into the pool. We enjoy our walks down to the tennis court, passing through the rose garden. There’s a little sitting area with cozy benches too where you can look out over all the colors of the rose garden. The kids are fascinated with the beekeeping that goes on at the house as well. Ellen and Rand had just installed Direct TV and made sure we knew how to use all the remotes. They have been very responsive any time we have asked for how to do something. There is a housekeeper that comes during week days and helps with laundry which has been something we are very grateful for due to our long stay (5 weeks). We will truly miss Casita de Arboles and have many happy memories of our time there!
Date of Stay-August 21, 2014: I stayed here with my wife and 5 month old daughter at the end of August. From the moment we arrived, Ellen, the property owner, was exquisitely attentive to all our needs. In particular, she purchased a crib and other products to make sure we'd be comfortable with our baby. There's so much to be said about the property as well. It's truly a gem, hidden away in the recesses of the one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in San Diego County. Every amenity - from the pool, to the expansive tennis court, and all others - was clean and well maintained. I cannot recommend Ellen highly enough: it makes such a difference when you feel like the owner is absolutely committed to you enjoying your stay. And take it from me - you will!

This was a wonderful property that was perfect for our family of 3. We loved the privacy and awesome amenities such as pool toys, game boards, and numerous other thoughtful touches when we arrived such as the golf umbrella and chairs for our daughter's soccer game! The words and pictures don't do it justice. Everything from top to bottom was exquisite. The casita, the grounds, the views, the tennis court, the pool were all spectacular. However, what stood out most was Ellen's personal determination to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She went well out-of-her-way to provide our family with personal touches that made the stay all the better. We have two young daughters that Ellen made sure felt very welcomed and happy. Halfway through our stay we were planning our next visit to the casita. If you're planning on staying at Casita Del Arboles - then plan on being happy you made such a good decision.

From the moment I saw this property on the website I thought this place was too good to be true, but upon arrival I was stunned at the fact that the beautiful pictures barely even begin to do justice to this magnificent location. Ellen had gone out of her way to ensure our girls had a special welcome and felt right at home. Both she and Rand are incredibly accommodating and make you feel like you're an old friend in for a visit. The guest house is stunningly decorated and very well kept. Our kids loved spending tons of time in the pool and walking around the property. We were in town for a few days and I wanted a place where we could spend an entire day together as a family without the need to leave the property and this was certainly the place. From the panoramic views to the tranquil natural setting you will be hard pressed to find a better location for your stay. One word of advice...don't plan many activities away from the property, once you are there you will not want to leave! Thanks Ellen and Rand. We will be coming back for sure.

We have now stayed twice with Ellen in her Casita and love it. Beautiful, relaxing, comfy, cozy and so relaxing. Everything we needed was at hand. Ellen and Enez were both so sweet and accomodating. Enjoyed both the pool and tennis court and all there is to do in and around Rancho Sante Fe. Our hike at Torrey Pines State Park was spectacular, as were all of Ellens recomendations for restaurants and activities. We hope to make this long weekend stay a few times each year.

With our family of four (children of 15 and 18) we ended our road trip through USA in this marvellous house in Rancho Sant Fe. What a great place to have a relaxing rest! The great swimming pool, plenty of different places to sit & relax, the tennis court, jacuzzi, etc. And of course the very helpful housekeeper Enes who even took care of our laundry. Upfront we found it quite a high price to for a week but it was worth every penny.

Treat our place like it was your own. There is a Rental Agreement that you will be agreeing to if you rent our property - here it is.
This Rental Agreement and Contract (the “Agreement”) is a legally binding agreement made and entered into as of the Reservation Date referenced in your booking by and between the undersigned person(s) or company (“you”, “your” or the “Guest”) and the undersigned property owner (“Owner” or “Transmedia Multiverse”), pursuant to which the Guest has agreed to rent the casita located at the residence described below (the “Rental Property”), for the duration of the Rental Term for the Total Rental Fee and other good and valuable consideration as described herein.
Guest agrees that no more than 6 persons shall be permitted on the Rental Property at any time during the Rental Term unless Guest receives written permission of Owner to have more people, all of whom shall comply with the conditions and restrictions imposed upon Guest under this Agreement.
CONDITION AND USE OF RENTAL PROPERTY
The Rental Property is provided in “as is” condition. Owner shall use its best efforts to ensure the operation of all amenities in the Rental Property, such as Internet access, satellite or cable TV access as applicable. Owner shall not be held responsible for such items failure to work, but will make every effort to correct any issues as reported as quickly as possible. Guest acknowledges that use of amenities such as tubs, pools, spas, fireplaces, balconies, and the like may be potentially dangerous and involve potential risks if improperly used, particularly with regard to children and such use is at the Guest’s own risk.
Guest shall use the Rental Property for residential purposes only and in a careful manner to prevent any damage or loss to the Rental Property and keep the Rental Property in clean and sanitary condition at all times. Guest and any additional permitted guests shall not have loud parties or in any way take action that disturbs the peace and quiet enjoyment of neighborhood, shall refrain from loud noise and shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or inconvenience neighbors, nor shall Guest use the Rental Property for any immoral, offensive or unlawful purposes, nor violate any law, association rules or ordinance, nor commit waste or nuisance on or about the Rental Property. Any such action is grounds for immediate eviction and all attorneys fees or costs relating to such eviction shall be Guest’s responsibility.
If Guest should fail to comply with the conditions and obligations of this Agreement, Guest shall surrender the Rental Property, remove all Guest’s property and belongings and leave the Rental Property in good order and free of damage. No refund of any portion of the Total Rental Fee shall be made and if any legal action is necessary, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement from the other party for all costs incurred.
ASSIGNMENT OR SUBLEASE
Guest shall not assign or sublease the Rental Property or permit the use of any portion of the Rental Property by other persons who are not family members or guests of the Guest and included within the number of and as permitted occupants under this Agreement.
RISK OF LOSS AND INDEMNIFICATION
Guest agrees that all personal property, furnishings, personal affects and other items brought into the Rental Property by Guest or their permitted guests and visitors shall be at the sole risk of Guest with regard to any theft, damage, destruction or other loss and Owner shall not be responsible or liable for any reason whatsoever.
Guest hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Owner and their agents, owners, successors, employees and contractors from and against any costs, damages, liabilities, claims, legal fees and other actions for any damages, costs, attorneys fees incurred by Guest, permitted guests, visitors or agents, representatives or successors of Guest due to any claims relating to destruction of property or injury to persons or loss of life sustained by Guest or family and visitors of Guest in or about the Rental Property and Guest expressly agrees to save and hold Owner harmless in all such cases.
Guest hereby waives and releases any claims against Owner, the Rental Property owner and their successors, assigns, employees or representatives, officially or otherwise, for any injuries or death that may be sustained by Guest on or near or adjacent to the Rental Property, including any common facilities, activities or amenities. Guest agrees to use any such facilities or amenities entirely at the Guest’s own initiative, risk and responsibility.
ENTRY AND INSPECTION
Owner reserves the right to enter the Rental Property at reasonable times and with reasonable advance notice for the purposes of inspecting, cleaning or repairing the Rental Property or showing the Rental Property to other authorized persons. If Owner has a reasonable belief that there is imminent danger to any person or property, Owner may enter the Rental Property without advance notice. Properties may not be sublet.
ADDITIONAL TERMS TO THE RENTAL AGREEMENT
In addition to the standard terms included herein, Guest acknowledges and agrees that the following additional terms and conditions apply to the Guest’s rental of the Rental Property:
This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties with regard to the rental of the Rental Property, and any changes, amendments or modifications hereof shall be void unless the same are in writing and signed by both the Guest and the Owner. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. The words “Owner” and “Guest” shall include their respective heirs, successors, representatives. The waiver or failure to enforce any breach or provision of this Agreement shall not be considered a waver of that or any other provision in any subsequent breach thereof. If any provision herein is held invalid, the remainder of the Agreement shall not be affected. Any notice required to be given under this Agreement shall be in writing and sent to the contact information included herein. This Agreement may be signed in one or more counterparts, each of which is an original, but taken together constitute one in the same instrument. Execution of a digital signature shall be deemed a valid signature.

Reservation Deposit and Rental Payments:
An advance payment of fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the vacation rental (inclusive of fees and applicable taxes) is required to confirm all reservations within seven (7) days of making the initial reservation. If this payment is not received, your reservation will be cancelled. The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee and applicable taxes must be received within thirty (30) days prior to arrival date.
Reservations made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date will require the entire amount of the property rental rate, the non-refundable reservation fee, and applicable taxes to be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.
Payment is accepted by wire transfer, credit card, check, or money order. Transmedia Multiverse will collect a Returned Check Fee of $50.00 for any payment by check that is returned for insufficient funds.
Cancellation of Reservations
Transmedia Multiverse will process cancellations and refund monies received however any reservation cancelled 10 days of the booking date or after will be charged a $105.00 processing fee and a $75.00 cancellation fee and the fees will be deducted from the initial deposit/payment. All fees are subject to local and state taxes.
Your vacation property will be cleaned to quality standards prior to your arrival and after your departure. You will be responsible for cleaning during your stay and for leaving the property in good condition at check-out. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request. We respectfully request your awareness and appreciation of the property owners; please treat the vacation accommodation with the care you would your own. Laundry facilities are provided in the Rental Property. The accommodation will be stocked with a starter supply of trash liners, toilet paper, bath soap and dishwasher soap. Extra needed items are the responsibility of the guest. Bed, bath linens and pool towels are furnished and are not to be removed from the property. Any damages will be charged to your credit card per the Damage Security Section.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is strictly prohibited at Rental Property. If evidence of smoking is found at the property, charges will be assessed for necessary deodorizing and additional cleaning. These charges will be charged to your credit card per the Damage Security section.
Transmedia Multiverse reserves the right to charge the credit card(s) on file: 1) To reimburse expense incurred to repair damage, or replace missing items not covered with the Security Deposit ; 2) to pay for extra cleaning, if necessary; or 3) For any other charges, damages, fines, or consequences incurred for violation of the Rental Agreement as a result of your stay. You shall also cover any Attorneys fees and costs to recover occasioned by any damage to the property or to Owner or his neighbors due to your tenancy or violation of the Rental Agreement.
Family Oriented Vacation Properties
Transmedia Multiverse will not honor rentals of vacation properties to vacationing students or individuals under the age of twenty-four (24) without a responsible parent for every four (4) persons under the age of twenty-four (24). The parent(s) must occupy the rental property during entire confirmed rental period. Reservations must be made and confirmed by an adult over the age of twenty-four (24). Violators will be evicted and all rental payments will be forfeited. Reservations made under false pretense will be null and void and check-in will not be allowed. This policy includes reservations made by parents who do not check-in and/or who leave overnight during confirmed rental period. Any damage will be charged to your credit card per the Damaged Security section.
The maximum number of guests per property is based on the individual properties’ ability to safely and comfortably accommodate our guests. No more than 5 adults may stay in the property without permission of the Owner. If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, you will be asked to vacate the property forfeiting all rental payments.
Property Furnishings, Equipment, and Utilities
The rental property has a kitchenette with microwave, induction cooktop, convection oven, under-counter fridge/freezer, HD television with satellite, barbeque, central heating and air -conditioning. Transmedia Multiverse cannot guarantee these or other appliances. We will do our best to have malfunctions repaired as soon as possible.
No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, and cable. Please report outages will be reported immediately and every effort will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. The operation and maintenance of these utilities is completely out of the control of Transmedia Multiverse.
Property keys for both the casita will be provided to the Guest at or before check -in and must be returned Transmedia Multiverse at check-out. There is a lockbox for keys on the casita. A charge of $75.00, plus applicable taxes will be charged to your credit card per Security Deposit section for each key not returned. If you are locked out of the casita, please contact the Owner or property manager to obtain a replacement key. A representative from the property or Transmedia Multiverse will meet you at the Rental casita to provide assistance. A fee of $100.00 plus applicable taxes will be charged for this service.
In -ground swimming pools may cause an inherent risk to Guests (including children). As the Guest, you accept the risk of the pool and specifically agree that no minor children will be in the pool area without continuous adult supervision. Guests (including children) will use the pool only in a safe manner and will undertake no acts, which might risk injury or death in the use of the pool. The Guest assumes full control and full responsibility for the use of the in -ground swimming pool during confirmed rental period.
Property Owner will not be held responsible for acts of theft, vandalism, or other damages to guests’ personal property or items left at the vacation property. If an item has been accidentally left at the property, please contact Transmedia Multiverse as soon as possible and every effort will be made to mail it to your home. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the Guest.
I, the undersigned Guest, acknowledge that I have read the Guest Rental Agreement in its entirety. I understand the terms thereof and agree to be bound by the provisions herein. I also acknowledge and agree that the owner and Transmedia Multiverse, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, accident or delay which may be suffered by Guest, Guest’s family, children, guests, invitees or licensees by reason of:
(1) Guest’s failure to fulfill any condition of this agreement;
(2) Guest’s failure to comply with any requirements imposed by any governmental authority;
(3) Any judgment, lien or other encumbrance filed against the rented property as a result of Guest’s actions; or
(4) The negligent acts or omissions of the owner or any of his/her agents; and the undersigned specifically release(s) the Owner and its agents there from.
