We had a really lovely stay here. Great room with AC and a good shower, small TV and comfortable beds. Efren and his wife were wonderful- just a shame we didn't speak more Spanish so that we could talk to them more!
We were a bit confused about the setup before we got there so I'll explain and hopefully it'll help...
The property is a small guesthouse with, I think, a few rooms. Two of the rooms have patio doors onto the road as their entrance- we had one of these and it was great as it made it super private (though the surrounding roads were noisy, often cars parked up with their engines running at 4am and people outside talking, shouting and doing maintenance from 5am onwards). In our room were four beds (a double and three singles) I assume to accommodate multiple guests if you book as a group- it was still a private room. In between these rooms and the main guesthouse is a little restaurant/cafe, which we didn't use, then there is a small kitchen in the guesthouse around the corner. You are free to use the kitchen and we did so but we never really felt 100% comfortable doing so as there wasn't a table to sit and eat at and it had a very 'family home' feel as though we were imposing. Maybe this wasn't the case at all but I'm just trying to set the scene :)
Efren was really helpful with telling us where to book tours and he actually came and got us from the airport, which was SO helpful. The property is about 10 minutes walk up/downhill from the port and 20 minutes walk from the nearest beach. The location is ok and, in all honesty, the price was slightly high even by Galapagos standards considering all of the above but we still really enjoyed being there and would recommend that if you can't find anywhere cheaper/better location then you will definitely feel comfortable here.
