This flat is a traditional tenement so very roomy. Shared bathroom. 1 min from the train station and buses. Excellent city and highland links. Very close to the canal and cycle paths. Close to botanics.
I live in a traditional Glasgow tenement flat, ground floor, although there are a couple of stairs leading into the house. My home is in the west end of Glasgow. There is a large dining kitchen and we are happy sitting through there. There is a shared bathroom with shower. West End and all the biz is about a 20 min walk away, an enjoyable walk! Eating, drinking places galore can be had, good shops and clubs. There is an underground station at Byres Rd, West End, which takes you into town for more at Merchant City etc.
Local to where I live there is the main supermarket and mega store, about 2 mins away, local shops a plenty. There are a few discounted stores local too. The train station is 1 minute away - direct trains to Edinburgh and in the opposite direction direct to Balloch ie. Loch Lomond. From the same train station trains can be had to the Highlands ie Fort William and Inverness and in the opposite direction a train to town links with trains to wherever one desires.!
There is a good bus service into town and the west end. Botanic Gardens is in the west end and only about a 20 min walk or 5 mins on the bus. Buses are every 10 mins.
I have to add Glasgow is promoting cycling in a big way! I cycle almost everyday and certainly to and from work. There are pleny of cycle paths and I live close to the canal which connects to cycle paths in both directions ie. towards balloch (and all the way to Inverness (if you wanted to) and the opposite direction towards Falkirk Wheel/Edinburgh.
If you're thinking of doing the West Highland Way, the beginning is only a 5 min train journey away in Milngavie. I enjoy hill walks.!

I am friendly and laid back and if you're happy then I'm happy to let you see to yourself. Always happy to advise if you wish.
I was born in Glasgow and my knowledge of the city is fairly good..........what I don't know.......(website hidden) always good for!
It is expected that you will clean up after yourselves. There is a dishwasher. But do leave the kitchen area as you found it.
I've lived all my life in Glasgow and def love the city and all it has to offer. I'm a fairly active woman, lots of energy......enjoy fitness. cycle almost daily to work and back, do jog at times and like to be outdoors. I've done a few hillwalks and done the west highland way a couple of times!!..now I'm bragging....lol.
I'm a fairly laid back woman and happy to accommodate others, whether that's info, giving a hand, going that extra bit to make sure you are all right etc. I work full time in Glasgow. I have 3 daughters, all living out of the home now.....hence my reason for Airbnb hosting.
Looking forward to doing this, have always fancied myself as a Scotland tour guide!!
