Our ultra-modern, 4-Bedroom town house is light/bright with under floor heating and parking in the drive. The suite spans the entire top floor so is very private. On a quiet road, we are in the heart of trendy Ashley Cross with upmarket, cosmopolitan restaurants, juice bars and coffee hang outs. We are very close to Poole Park and Whitecliff, whilst exclusive Sandbanks is a short drive. We are a few minutes to Parkstone train station and on many bus/coach routes. We are also Pet Friendly!

Le logement
I am from London and very cosmopolitan so love meeting guests from all around the world. I often work from home so may well be here to welcome and point you in the right direction to the best attractions. If not, we have a key safe that will enable you to access as you please. We are very pet friendly though would like all guests with pets (other than social dogs) TO EMAIL BEFORE BOOKING TO CHAT THROUGH REQUIREMENTS. This is a great dog friendly area, not only walk wise, but there are loads of local cafes and restaurants in Ashley Cross that welcome dogs.

Accès des voyageurs
There is parking for one vehicle in the drive. Lower Parkstone and Sandbanks area can get busy during the summer, however our road always remains quiet. It is a few minutes walk to the wide range of phenomenal restaurants - from Japanese and South African to smoothie bars and wood fire pizzas.

Autres remarques
There is also a mini fridge (15L) in your suite.

Poole, Angleterre, Royaume-Uni

Ashley Cross is one of the trendiest suburbs of Poole and Bournemouth with some fabulous restaurants, juice bars, coffee shops and, many say, the best pub, The Bermuda Triangle, at the bottom of the road. This is very quirky with a funky gin bar upstairs. You can access this by pushing the bookcase in the hall to reveal the secret passage way upstairs. The tiny Goat coffee shop at the bottom (opposite the Goat) is another gem. It was set up by the owner of Coffee Saloon but has way more flair and everyone in the area uses it as the meeting hub. Mark Bennet also serves tremendous coffee.

As for restaurants, DragNfly is fabulous Japanese restaurant with the most amazing decor I have seen. There is a full size tree inside with stuffed peacocks, exotic lanterns and a full size Samurai warrior glaring at everyone! The food is sumptuous, although portions are a little small. Zim is another rare treat. This is an upmarket but very authentic South African restaurant even boasting a 'Brai.' The casseroles are great (the ox tongue casserole is a lush, large meal). Again portions are a little small. The Dancing Moose, Chicken & Blues plus Le Bateau are all excellent and have a good range of burgers, pizzas and great for kids

Walks to the sea at Whitecliff and Poole Park are about 15 minutes and the park is vast for walking. The harbour at white cliff is lovely and it is worth exploring the newly revamped yacht club.

Other good walks are Branksome Chine to the beach. Free parking is at Tower Road West in Bournemouth and this is a wonderful chine walk down to the fabulous sandy beach and the great restaurant.

Southbourne Grove is worth exploring for a more new age feel. Again the beach is phenomenal and Hengistbury Head is a tremendous nature walk to the beautiful spit with the eye catching splay of upmarket beach huts.Sandbanks is close by with amazing beaches and multi-million pound houses. |The Jazz Cafe is dog friendly and has jazz events from time to time. From here you can nip over o the small ferry to Studland for even more beautiful beaches and nature walks and cycles. Shell Bay is a great Studland restaurant for fish and chips outside before hitting the beach. Or it makes a tremendous, romantic evening hideaway with phenomenal views.

The chain ferry from studland to Purbeck is a gem in of itself. The Purbeck is reminiscent of Narnia; you fall over interesting and bizarre places. You must try the Square & Compass pub, Langton Matravers - a tiny pub with its own local museum boasting rare local finds such as dinosaur bones and love tokens. It hosts a range of off beat events, such as story telling evenings, folk bands and pumpkin weighing exhibitions. From here you can walk down to the weird Winspit Caves (used in a Disney movie apparently). A little further on is the tidal swimming pool carved into the rock at Dancing Ledge. Arne is a hidden bird nature reserve with stunning walks with views of the array of islands. Plus plenty of deer sitings

If you are a theatre lover, you must visit the Shelly Theatre, Southbourne which was the theatre of Mary Shelley and this is where she worked on Frankenstein. It has a great host of production and a cafe (again dog friendly). it has some excellent quality productions. There is also the Lighthouse theatre in Poole. The best cinemas are the Odeon in Bournemouth and Cineworld in Tower Park

For the more adventurous, it is worth trying the zip wire on Bournemouth Pier and coasteering.
