Magical lakefront house 2 miles from downtown Ithaca. Large covered porch wraps around 300 year old oak. Large out door sitting & dining areas with table for 10. Big dock, beach, BBQ, 2 Kayaks. 4 rooms, (one is den with COMFORTABLE queen fold out couch), & 2 full baths. Very private & tucked in woods. $650 entire house for #6, $750 for #8. New kitchen (fully equipped) & paved driveway for easy access. House sits up just the right height from the beach to feel like you are perched in our tree.
Our house is truly unique with its 300 year old red oak that goes right through the covered porch. You really feel like you are sitting in a tree house looking out over the lake. The whole place is charming with its oriental rugs, porches off the bedrooms and the way it sits in the woods perched over the lake. The place is eclectic with great character and very cozy too. We just renovated the kitchen and it has all new appliances. There is a Smart TV and 2 kayaks on beach. We sit up just the right amount from the beach to feel like you are perched in a tree. It is like being in a giant "room with a view" sitting on the covered porch and beautiful even when the storms are rolling down the lake.

Very little but to greet, provide regional insight for where to go and what to do and any other questions/suggestions I can be of support on.
I have a small tea house on the edge of the property where I stay sometimes but it does not interfere with your space/activities.
We are a typical lake house with a long steep drive NEWLY PAVED and a flight of wooden then big stone stairs down to the house, so not for the feeble on foot. There are 2 drives, one that goes much closer down to house that fits 3 cars. The second drive is to a landing half way down where you park and then you walk down some rail road ties over a bridge to the house.
Guest are expected to treat the home as if it was their own with care and respect and to leave it in the good order in which they found it. Smoking out side only and butts in ashtrays, not on lawn etc.
Hello, I am the co- owner/curator/steward of the Treman Center, a unique events space in a repurposed barn in Newfield, NY, 10 minutes for down town Ithaca. The center is a transformational gathering place where innovation and culture converge. My husband Kevin Reilly is a stone mason/artist and built the place over 10 years. I am also an artist and the mother of two grown girls, a singer/performer and a National Geographic Explorer. We have lived in this house for 35 years and have shared it with many people over the years who all agree that it is a special place they all want to return to. I create beautiful places where people can come together and feel at peace and celebrate life. I am happy to share my beloved lakeside sanctuary with people who will appreciate it!
