Studio loft, 10 foot bay windows, private shower/bathroom, & queen bed. In the best neighborhood, in one of the best cities in the world. Thanks for looking.
A Brief Summary of My Apartment
My front room studio loft has three large ten foot front facing bay windows, a personal shower and bathroom, a lofted queen bed, and a beautiful ornate marble fireplace. It is located on the block with an elevated walkway across Storrow Drive for easy access to the Esplanade, easy access to the Green Line subway system on Copley square, is four blocks from Boston Common, a mile walk from Fenway Park, and in one of the nicest neighborhood in Boston (an argument can be made for Beacon Hill, located three blocks away, but I'd say the Back Bay has better access to the best Boston has to offer).
The extremely sunny apartment comes with a 32" flat panel television, high speed internet and cable, kitchen, a sink located in the kitchen, and original hardwood floors. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and clean towels will be provided. The bathroom, which is accessible through the closet next to the entrance, is small and located in the former elevator shaft for the building. It has a stand up shower and shares it’s sink with the one located in the kitchen. It is also in an ideal walking location for the Hynes Convention center, less than 5 minutes away up the gorgeous Commonwealth Avenue Mall.
The apartment is on the second floor of brownstone made in the late 1890's, located conveniently on a major thorough fare in Boston, Beacon Street, but conveniently raised enough so that the large 10 foot bay windows facing the street open up to the tree tops. The bed can comfortably sleep two, and there is also a sleeping bag and full size air mattress provided. The bed is lofted with two pillows and a down comforter. The pillow cases, bed sheets, and comforter will be washed before you arrival. The air mattress can sleep 1 adult comfortably. The large desk is also at your disposal.
I will not be at the apartment for any amount of time you request it aside from meeting you upon arrival and getting the keys back at departure. The neighborhood is very safe, and parking can be made in any of the garages nearby for a per night or weekend rate. I will leave an empty fridge with ample room for your food and beverages otherwise. I will also be available via email or phone at any time during your stay.
Here are my recommendation for must see things to check out in my area, in no particular order:
- walking on Newbury Street, you can read about it on its Wikipedia page
- doing a Duck Boat Tour
- going to Fenway for a game, or watching it at the sports bars around it, I'd suggest the Cask-n-Flagon
- visiting Harvard Square and Harvard Yard
- visiting Boston Common, the Public Gardens, and Copley Square
- take a trip to the top of the Prudential Tower to eat
- visiting in the North End, it's like little Italy
- touring the Boston Public Library in Copley Square
- doing the Freedom Trail
- walking along the Esplanade and seeing the Hatch Shell
- visiting the MFA, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (highly recommended), or the Aquarium.

I'll check you in, show you were all the light switches are, and be out of your way in 2 minutes.
From Logan you can take the subway to either Park Street, Arlington, and Copley on the Green Lines.
Just enjoy your stay! And while no smoking is allowed in the building, the stoop has ample seating and is recessed away enough from the street to provide space for a private burn. Towels will be provided for showering, and all utensils in the kitchen are at your disposal. If you have specific questions about activities close by, please send me a message and I'll try to provide as best an answer as possible.
