Quoit Green Apartment is a well appointed property attached to our Grade 2 listed family home built in 1613. Located on the edge of the Peak District and a 6 - 8 minute walk from Dronfield train station.

Le logement
The apartment has its own entrance that leads into a comfortable living room with 2 and 3 seater sofas. Although there is no TV aerial / cable / Sky TV, the smart TV is Wi-Fi enabled and has Amazon Prime, Netflix and various catch up apps available. There is a selection of board games, books and maps for guests' use.

Within the living room there is a coat cupboard, a utility cupboard with iron and ironing board, as well as doorways to the kitchen and rest of the property. The electric fire quickly gets the room nice and toasty and is operated by remote control.

The kitchen has recently been fitted and includes a full size oven, 4 ring electric hob, extractor, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and has plenty of storage including a larder cupboard. Salt / pepper, oil, coffee, tea and milk are provided.

A doorway from the living room leads to the dining area where a large map of the Peak District can be viewed whilst sitting with a drink and planning your next adventure.

Beyond the dining area is a recently refurbished shower room with W.C and sink.

Just next to the shower room is a spacious bedroom, with plenty of storage and a king size bed with a new deep, firm and comfortable mattress.

It is not possible to park directly outside the apartment, however, guests are more than welcome to park in our drive 30 metres away.

For amazing food, art, music and culture, check out Sheffield City Centre; home to the Lyceum Theatre, the Crucible Theatre, City Hall, numerous art galleries, museums and a couple of independent cinemas!

For vintage & antique lovers, the Antique Quarter in Sheffield; the Flea Market in Chesterfield, and Dale Road, Matlock are recommended.

The property is in a conservation area and located in the "old" part of Dronfield which is an historic market town with medieval barn, C14 Grade 1 listed Parish Church and heritage walks. A sports centre with swimming pool and gym, range of shops, pubs and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

We have many great places to eat out in the town, or to buy takeaway food; including English, Chinese, Italian, Indian and great fish and chips! Details and menus can be found in the info file. There are 2 local supermarkets within walking distance.

My wife and I love travelling, especially to new cities, countries and people. I've been very lucky to visit 80+ countries and hope to grow this number considerably over the coming years. We're big fans of walking, particularly in the hills or mountains and enjoy a good museum or 2. We love to try the food and wine of the places we're visiting as a reward for lots of walking! We often stay in a place for 3 days and then explore other places, using the public transport of the relevant country, as it's a great way to immerse yourself. Absorbing all the sights, smells, noises with some wonderful food & drink of new places makes me stay at work and earn the money!
