Furnished cosy cabin sleeps 3 in a double and single bed. Sit by your outdoor firepit after exploring the beauty of Skye or relax in the comfort of your cabin warmed by the wood burning stove. Compost toilet, the unique greenhouse shower and sociable Hub and Shack are all part of the off grid experience. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only for an additional £15.
Skye Eco Bells is a unique Eco Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. We only have 2 Cosy Cabins and 1 Bell tent to keep the site small so people can enjoy some tranquility and time to relax and unwind whilst having a great base to explore all of Skye.
The site has no electricity or WiFi so you can really disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with the important things.......each other and the stunning natural landscape around you. However we do provide a solar powered USB charger for charging phones and cameras as well as solar powered lighting in communal areas.

Either Nadia or Scott will meet you upon arrival to show you around and answer any questions. After that we will leave you to enjoy your visit but will be available around the site or by phone to give assistance or advice. We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible so if there is anything we can do to help, please just ask. We know the island very well and are happy to share tips on places to visit, eat out etc.
It will take approximately 6 to 7 hours to drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh and at least 3 hours from Inverness or Fort William. Inverness or Fort William are the last opportunity to shop at a large supermarket. We don't live at the campsite so it's important for us to know your arrival time so we are able to meet you there. We ask that you call us on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) when you reach the Skye Bridge which crosses from the mainland to the island or from the ferry terminal at Armadale, depending on which way you are travelling.
NB Mobile phone coverage is notoriously poor in the Highlands (big mountains!) There are areas of coverage but make calls when you have signal as you might not have it later. You should be able to get phone signal at Kyle of Lochalsh, where the Skye Bridge starts and at Armadale. Please let us know if you are going to arrive later than expected so we can plan ahead as the campsite is not manned all evening.
Skye Eco Bells provides a tranquil retreat for our guests and is part of a small rural community. Our neighbours are our friends so please be mindful of too much noise at night time. Thanks
The Shack & The Hub are communal spaces so it would be appreciated if you keep them tidy for others to use.
We have free range hens that are very cheeky and nosey!! If you would like to feed them just ask and we can give you some pellets to feed them. They'll be your friends forever!! :)
We have 2 horses who live in the adjacent field. Please ask Nadia or Scott if you would like to say hello to them. Please do not feed them or enter their field unaccompanied. Please note that the fence is electrified and we don't want you to get a shock!
Most important rules......Relax, chat, drink, eat good food and enjoy each others company and the beauty of Skye :)
