“Charming town filled with boutique shops, great restaurants and home of one of the most famous & oldest continually operating dance halls around. Since its inception in 1878, not too much has changed at the Hall... it's kept the old school design pretty much the same...If those wooden floors could only talk! What does still talk are some pretty cool old advertising signs (circa 1930s -40s) that adorn the entire tin-pitched roof building. Do keep in mind there's no A/C, but long "side flap" screened windows that pretty much run the span of the building's sides for authentic, old Texas, open air dancing! Its so old school here that credit cards aren't accepted at the wine & beer only bar- so bring cash! It can get crowded but there's also a large outdoor garden you can enjoy on those hot summer days. Willie & Garth play here at times. ”
