Our tour is ideal for everyone who wants to get to know Madrid in a short time but in a relaxed way. Conducted in English. Private tours in English, Dutch, Spanish, French if available and Portuguese if available. In about 3 hours and 11 km biking, you will more or less see and hear everything of the old center while riding a very comfortable bicycle. The “must see” places as well as the hidden corners away from the typical touristic paths. We will ride mainly on cycling paths, pedestrian zones and parks. Of course there will be various stops to take pictures. When we stop, we will tell you about the stories behind what you see and tell our personal experiences of our time in Madrid. We will meet at the train station and I will take you to explore some of the most beautiful Spanish landscapes that Madrid National Park Mountains can offer for 2-3 hours approx. The hike is easy and relaxing, perfect for a rest from the city hustle and bustle and connect with nature (it is only known by locals so it won't be crowded). We'll hike along mountains, little streams, oaks, holm oaks, pines, blackberries, wild roses, sometimes cows and horses will be free roaming among us... We will see some of the most amazing natural treasures that "la Sierra de Madrid" hides (including local ranches), we will also see some historical remains and will stop at a lookout to contemplate the chain of Mountains and the nearest towns. During winter time, we will be able to enjoy the snow if the forecast is with us, and during summer, we will enjoy the fresher temperatures from the city center. Durant nôtre atelier "workshop" tu feras ta propre espadrille traditionnelle catalane, laquelle t´appartiendra sans coût. Tu seras un vrai artisan durant 120 minutes. Nous nous rencontrerons dans un de nos atelier "workshop" ou tu pourras voire nos produits et les matériaux usés pour faire nos chaussures. Les artisans serons avec toi durant tout le temps pour te guider et te donnerons les produits et les outils nécessaires. C´est très amusant pour les enfants aussi. Au début nous ferons une approche de l´histoire des espadrilles et des matériaux nécessaires pour la fabrication des mêmes. Tu apprendras tout de cette jolie tradition et comment ces chaussures traditionnelles au début elles étais faites pour et pars des personnes humbles et de nos jours marquent la tendance dans la mode en chaussures. Ainsi chaque hôte de nos workshops choisira les couleurs, le taillage, les lacets et les fils de couture. En ce moment, tu construiras tés propres espadrilles traditionnelles et tu apprendras les différentes façons de les attacher a tes chevilles. C´est amusant et ça ne présente aucune difficulté et tu auras fait tès propres "espardenyes". Finalement chaque hôte partira avec sa propre création et une vraie et cool histoire a raconter a ces amis. Une création qui est vraiment simple a faire par nos visiteurs est encore faite dans des villages hors de la ville. Autres remarques Ne vous inquiétez pas si vous n’avez pas d’expérience sur le terrain, le processus est plutôt facile, aucune connaissance préalable n’est nécessaire, nous dirigerons toute l’expérience et vous repartirez avec une magnifique espadrille faite par vous-même.

Le tour commence dans mon atelier, un parmi les nombreux éspaces de travail comunautaire d´artisans du quartier. Dans notre tour a vélo du quartier on decouvrira des scénarios plein de contrastes; des usines abandonnés, un ancient village qui survit, les modernes gratte-ciel du front de mer. Bien que pour securité la visite se fait avec un vélo normal, celui qui le voudra pourra rouler avec un de mes vélos lors de l´un des nombreux arrêts qu´on fera pour mieux apprecier les vues.
