My friends and I stayed at the Illangi house for two nights over the summer. The house was very clean and cosy with more than enough room for four people. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment to easily prepare and cook meals. There was a beach within walking distance and from the top floor there is even a beautiful little view over the water. At the back of the house is a patio with a barbecue and table to enjoy the warm days and nights. John provided detailed instructions about how to access the house which was easy to understand and we didn’t run into any problems. I enjoyed our stay at the residence and would recommend this place to our friends :)

We had a wonderful stay in Waratah Bay! We loved the cosy, comfortable and welcoming home. The views of surrounding bushland were gorgeous and we saw so much birdlife! My husband got to stroke a kookaburra and the parrots were sitting on my hands - very special. The fire kept us beautifully warm and we enjoyed watching one of the many dvd's that are there. The beach is very close and a few of us had some lovely walks. We really hope to visit again one day and will certainly recommend it to others that like getting away 'from it all' and have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thank you very much John.

Illangi totally lives up to its name as a beach retreat. It's a great property set on the hill of Waratah Bay with wonderful views of the water. It is spacious, well laid out, inviting and full of everything you need. Our family loved staying there. John was friendly in his email communication and gave us great info on the house + surrounds. The birds on the deck were a delight and our son appreciated the tub of bird seed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend it!

What a wonderful living experience we have! The cozy house has everything we need for stay. My friends enjoy playing board games near the warm fireplace and feeding birds in the terrace. I would recommend my friends the holiday home if anyone wants an unfogettable memory near Wilsons Promontory.

The house was clean and had some really nice views especially from the loft master bedroom. We enjoyed the visiting birdlife and the proximity to the beach. On the whole, we were comfortable during our 2 night stay. But It would have been nicer if the furniture and decor were updated. Ok if you like things a little rustic.

Our stay was short but amazing. The property is beyond description and presence of Sullivan, Gilbert and Kangaroos on the estate made it more special.

This is honestly heaven in the Yarra valley. Amazing home, views, location etc. So peaceful and tranquil. Took everything in my body not to take home their gorgeous doggies and kangaroo's. house was kept in wonderful condition. The beds were extremely comfy, the kitchen was spacious and accomodating. No photos could ever capture the views seen from their porch. Herman was extremely helpful and a wonderful host. We will definitely be back again.

Unser Melbourne Aufenthalt war sehr sehr angenehm, das Apartment von Khee L liegt einmalig mitten im CBD, alles war gut zu erreichen. Das apartment war sehr sauber und ruhig, obwohl es in einem Hochhaus im 20. Stockwerk ist. die Verständigung mit Khee war sehr gut. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We loved our stay at Khee Leng's place - he met us at the station and the apartment was a few minutes walk - PERFECT location. Close to the free trams, supermarkets and lots of cafe's and restaurants, it was very easy to get around and explore, and only a short 15 minute walk to get to the main shopping centres. The apartment was great, and we were even provided tea, coffee, milk, bread and butter and jam! Lots of maps and walking trails provided in the apartment, which was great as we had never visited before. The addition of the pool, gym and sauna was perfect, and I used this every day! Its a great stay for 2 people or someone looking to stay for business this was like a homely hotel, with towels and hair dryer also provided, it just has everything you would need and will definitely be using again!

Khee and Angie were very hospitable and pleasant, making sure that we had a comfortable stay in Melbourne :) Location is excellent and safe, a short walk from Southern Cross and many shops, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The apartment itself is still new, very clean, and well-equipped with amenities.

Where do I start? Khee met us at the sky bus terminal which is quite literally across the road from the apartment. Trams and trains are the easiest mode of transport (but UBER is very cheap as well). Every morning the sun came shining in, there was a lovely welcome note from Khee, the apartment felt like home! The gym and the pool are good fun so I highly recommend braving the cold carpark and running down to the pool! It was awesome! From the apartment it was 6 train stops to the zoo! And a $7 uber to the Victoria markets. Honestly could not fault Khee on a thing, this was a beautiful Melbourne experience and I hope to return soon to this amazing air BnB!

The unit was bright, airy and conveniently located about 100m across the road from Southern Cross Station. Mr. Lim provided extras like coffee, tea,Edgar, milk, Milo, bread, butter and jam in the apartment. Even a new toothbrush and tube of toothpaste was provided. All the amenities worked well except the wifi which was a tad spotty during my 10 days stay there. About 4 days, I could not connect for 4/5 hours and then it came back on. The kitchen was adequately equipped and although all the pots and pans were badly scratched, Mr. & Mrs. Lim had them replaced very quickly when I pointed it out to them. Overall, the place was relatively clean.

Being met in person by Khee at the Southern Cross bus station and escorted to the apartment which was only a few minutes walk away was a wonderful start to my vacation. The complementary Bread, milk, jam, butter along with tea/coffee as very much appreciated. The surprise was the toothbrush, shampoo & bodywash. The apartment is exactly as it was in the pictures, and is the perfect location for business or leisure and was walking distance to almost everything I needed, or utilise the free tram travel within CBD. The building is very secure (need swipe card for lift) and quiet, I never heard anyone. Highly recommend this place and will stay again

Khee was an incredible host. He kindly met us at the train station and showed us the apartment. He had brought us fresh bread & milk and even prepared a welcome sign for our stay during the Melbourne International Film Festival. It was a very touching gesture and lovely keepsake. The apartment is very central, clean and has all basic amenities you would need for two. Plus security to the apartment building was fabulous. It was very quite despite construction outside and being so central. I highly recommend this apartment to a couple visiting Melbourne- after a central, quite, tidy and affordable stay. In spite of the weather we had a great time immersed in the most spectacular scenery imaginable. Loved the shower which was piping hot with 180degree view. Quite unique.

The yurt is.....AMAZING. Everyone should experience it's raw beauty some time in their life. Nothing less than spectacular. You will not be disappointed.

'Magnificent' is the best way to describe Sharon's Yurt Alpine Retreat. We had been camping in the beautiful surrounding hills for the preceding days, but it was incredible to land on top of this hill, see for miles and miles, and feel like we were the only people in the world. Everything we hoped for. The yurt provided everything and more of what we needed. Although we spent most of our time in the hammocks outside drinking local wine and eating local cheese, you can see Sharon's love and creativity inside the yurt. There aren't many places like this in Vic. What a treat.

This is by a mile the most magical Airbnb we have ever stayed in and we can't recommend it highly enough. The yurt and facilities are wonderful, and the location is unlike anything else. Beautiful views and solitude if you want it, it was blissful and we can't wait to return.

We met Sharon after we arrived and were taken to up to the Yurt. It is located in a very beautiful spot on top of a rise overlooking mountains and hills. We had a wonderful nights stay sitting by the fire and gazing at the stars. The Yurt is very cost and warm and it felt very peaceful. Our only neighbours were the cows who came to say hello. The shower the next morning was wonderful and has the best view! We will be telling our friends about this place.

No tourists. It's just you and nature. We went on a little road trip and the Yurt Alpine Retreat is definitely the ideal place to take some time out, relax, rejuvenate and feel on top of the world. We had great weather, a stunning sunset, an equally stunning sunrise, a starry night and a big full moon - very magical and memorable. The Yurt itself was a fun and unique glamping experience - the decor was colourful and authentic, and we enjoyed strolling through the vineyard. The Yurt is warm, cosy, spacious, clean and comfortable. It's got everything you need and plenty of firewood to keep the campfire roaring. Our host Sharon, was absolutely fabulous. She was friendly, down to earth, approachable, warm, hospitable, responsive, kind, open minded and just lovely. She's extremely knowledgeable about her local area and we appreciated her recommendations on things to see and do on the way up. So to get off the beaten track, one of the things we did was check out Paradise Falls - it was a nice rewarding little walk and very awesome to enjoy the waterfall view all on our own! Sharon, thank you so much for sharing this amazing spot of nature and for your lovely hospitality. We will definitely come back again. I'm sure our friends will check it out too! Highly recommended for those who love the outdoors and want a unique glamping experience to tick off the bucket list!

The Yurt Alpine Retreat is a truly unique accommodation in a wonderful Victorian vineyard. We loved cooking our dinner on the outdoor bbq and had a fabulous evening under the stars with a complimentary bottle of champagne thanks to Sharon, who was very welcoming. The night was cosy and warm in this original Mongolian ger and all the essentials were provided for. Breakfast was outdoors again and even the shower had a view over the magnificent countryside. There are plenty of good walks around and we would love to come back and enjoy this peaceful place again.

This place was fantastic! The cabin is really cosy and movies to watch in the bedroom was great. We also had friends staying in the tram and the caravan. Plenty of room for everyone and a fire pit and bbq to centre around. Ang is a fabulous host - great communication and was really helpful. Quirky place, would definitely stay again.

WHAT. A. DREAM. Ang's place is exactly what I needed and was perfectly depicted on the AirBnB profile when I booked initially. Camp Kulning didn't disappoint and the only qualm I have is that we couldn't stay for longer. It's a perfect escape from the big smoke, and the thing I loved is that there are so many nooks and spots on the block to hang out that the group of 6 of us felt no need to go anywhere else except to run out and get more wine. I'm already planning my next trip to Camp Kulning in my head!

A delightful stay. Ang is warm and generous and goes out of her way to make sure you're comfy and at home; the place is clean and lovingly equipped (the book collection is A1); and the property itself is a dream. We loved our stay and will most certainly be back.

Ang was an amazing host. She met us at the property on Friday night with the campfire ablaze and gave us a guided tour. The Shack was adorable, it was beautifully decorated and full of gorgeous op shop crockery and glass wear. She also had a fantastic record collection that we listened to over wine and cheese. My partner and I slept in the tram, which stayed fabulously warm all night from the heat of the potbelly fire in the adjoining lounge room. The bed was firm and comfortable and there were extra blankets on hand should you feel the cold. The tiki bar was also top notch. I highly recommend Angela's place! So much character and charm. You'll especially love it, if like me, you have a penchant for collectibles, antiques and vintage treasures.

The Shack was absolutely fantastic. The tram, the house, the tiki bar, everything was completely amazing. I was only there one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Couldn't recommend it more highly, I'll definitely be returning. Ang was a wonderful host, and there are lots of great touches around that make it feel very homely, including the excellent vinyl collection.

Ang is a great host - super responsive, welcoming, friendly, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. She dropped off some extra firewood during our stay, had stocked the fridge with essentials, and was easily contactable throughout our stay. The property itself is even better than described - quirky, fun, comfortable, quiet and relaxed. We had the place to ourselves (2 of us), but it would be great with a few friends. There's loads of games/books/a fabulous tiki bar to keep you occupied - we had such a great time! Despite the freezing temperatures, the fires and electric-blankets kept us toasty warm. Kyneton is only a few minutes away - so many great places to eat, and a cute bar with bands on the weekend. We're definitely coming back, both with some friends and on our own again - we loved it here.

The historical feel in this property is lovely, and we enjoyed our stay. Great for walking places if you don't want to be right in the centre of Melbourne CBD, close to transport and all mod cons provided. Would definitely recommend The Stables.

This place is just as Debbie described. She is a very helpful host who went out of her way to make our week smooth. The apartment is small as described, but is finished beautifully, and the bed super comfortable. There is also all the things you need and more, including shampoo, conditioner and herbal tea! The location is perfect if you are exploring the city, or there for business, as the Flinders station is directly opposite. If you are not used to city noise, though this place is double glazed and largely quiet, I would recommend earplugs. This is only necessary if you are from a quiet location, and wouldn't be needed for most people. We really enjoyed staying at Debbie's place, and would recommend it to everyone! Thanks Debbie!!

Everything about our stay was great. Kurt was really easy to communicate with and quick with responses. The actual house is architecturally amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. We had our dog on the property and he was completely safe in the fully-fenced yard. There is an outdoor pizza oven and two huge tables which were perfect for feeding a big group. We would definitely stay here again.

The Metalhouse, with it's intriguing design, is a pleasure to stay at. It really feels like a break away from city life just a short drive from Melbourne. The house is very comfortable and the various outdoor areas are a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some peace. The house is designed to be cosy when cold and also very comfortable on warm days with cross breezes. We loved it and would come back.

Stayed here only for one night but what a fantastic property! Great for get-togethers and large families. Kurt is very quick to reply to questions and messages. He was also flexible which we appreciated. Kitchen is well equipped (shame the coffee machine wasn't working on this occasion) but there are limited to no basic essentials (i.e. Oil, sugar, paper towels, ketchup) so make sure to bring your own. The projector was a great addition - as we were able to hook up our laptop and look back at old photos! Thanks for a great stay!

A fantastic apartment - and a warm, friendly welcome made this the perfect place for basing myself in Melbourne for a few days. The public transport is practically right on the doorstep if you want to hop into the centre of town, but equally there are plenty of places if you want to eat, drink and shop close by. The apartment has everything that a visitor could need, and is warm and stylish. Definitely recommended!

One word to describe it all: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. We loved the fact that the owners (Paul and Marco) were very responsive prior to our trip, and providing us much more than a 5 star hotel would give. The place is clean, looks exactly as described, kitchen is complete and most importantly, the couch and the bed are very comfortable. My husband and I were very delighted to find food in the kitchen after dreading on going out to get food after a tiring flight. How thoughtful are the owners! My husband and I had to force ourselves to go out because the apartment was so nicely furnished and homey and it made us want to just stay in instead of going out. On the other note, I feel that it's a must to give compliment to the owner's cafe, Fitzrovia, which is just nearby. Food and ambiance is superb. Anyone reading my review, you must visit their cafe. :)

Marco and Paul were fantastic! They made us feel very welcome and were so willing to help out if needed. The loft is exactly as they are shown in the photos and was extremely clean. Everything we needed was there! It was a great location! Fitzroy St was basically at the doorstep and it was a short walk to the beach! Would definitely recommend staying here!!! We very much enjoyed staying at Paul and Marco's Loft! The Loft was very cozy, clean and had all the comforts we needed for the 4 of us. We loved being so close to the beach and the tram which was very convenient. On top of it all, their restaurant 'Fitzrovia' is just around the corner which serves the best breakfast ever!! Great little studio apartment in the middle of Melbourne's business district. The views of the sparkling city are quite spectacular from the full glass windows and doors as well as the large terrace. Coco was charming and extremely efficient. Communication from him was excellent. This is a great city base and whilst the apart hotel's bar never seemed to be open when we were there the Intercontinental hotel had a lovely bar area just across the road.

Coco met us outside the building when we arrived about 7pm. We had an easy 10 minute walk from the Skybus at Southern Cross Station. The location on 18th floor in Collins Street was fantastic - in the CBD, right on a tramlines we needed for both St Kilda and Brunswick Street. The deck is as amazing as it looks - make time to use it! Also the gym on the 3rd floor is a bonus. The studio itself is spacious and well furnished. We really look forward to returning to Coco's apartment. Honestly, I'd be very happy living there!

Cool open plan space, with fantastic view

Amazing space enjoyed our trip good communication. Would have liked to see some milk in the fridge for a cup of tea and the apartment needed airing.

Simon's place was just lovely. Beautiful little apartment, and in the perfect location. Just a 10 minute walk to Chapel Street which is full of shops and restaurants.

Had a great stay at Simon's, very easy to get to tram and train station, cafe's and bars. Hopefully I will be able to stay here again.

Thanks for everything. We felt really welcome and communication was very quick and easy. The apartment was great as everything was new and trendy. The sofa was very comfortable and appreciated being able to use such a large screen netflix capable TV. Location was excellent as was near Train, Trams and Punt Rd Buses.

Simon was a fantastic host and we automatically felt comfortable in his home. Great location, quiet street with wonderful food (Luck Thai takeaway is a must). I reccomend his home and we will return!

Please Please Please take the opportunity to have the experience of Lyrebird Lakehouse. Three of us spent two nights there...twas (URL HIDDEN) peaceful..with everything you need to make the stay relaxing..kitchen well kitted out..beds comfy..verandah to view the lake from..and bernie was a delightful host..there when needed. There's a fantastic looking pool and Bernie offered up the canoe for a paddle on the lake should we be keen., if you enjoy fishing there's a jetty to throw a line in......AAA rating..

Peaceful location. Comfortable with very clean functional facilities. Waterways are sensational. Billy was very helpful with information. Would be a great stopover for riders from the bike trail.

We had a great stay at the Lyrebird Lakehouse. It's such a beautiful, peaceful location and the room has everything you need. And we spotted lots of wildlife! We would definitely recommend it.

Amazing views and a nice cozy place, great for a getaway

Billy's property hands down is the greatest place we have ever stayed at! Amazing location - the ultimate escape! Billy and Cath are really friendly and lovely, they also let us know that the Bruthen Blues Festival was on the weekend we stayed - we had so much fun! We even had a gorgeous possum visit us on the Saturday night! Thank you so much, we are already looking at our calendars to book again!

At one point while driving down the long dirt road to the cabin we weren't quite sure of where we were actually going to be staying; but, once we saw the place we were very impressed. The peace and quiet, BBQ on the deck overlooking the lake, neat and clean little cabin - everything was just awesome. Wish we stayed longer to take advantage of the lake, canoes and pool. Bernie was a great and easy-going host.

The cottage was beautiful, warm and cozy. The heater and electric blankets were perfect on a cold night. The views in the morning from the balcony overlooking the lake were gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have a warm morning so got to take the kayak out on the water. A great stay! Would highly recommend.

Lovely private space with everything you need to hide away and knowing you have the comfort of a modern home and luxury of services at your door step. All the equipment is as described. The weekend we stayed there was raining so we really enjoyed the villa, spend some time for drinks in couch area, order take away, enjoyed the outdoor area and the spa which is amazing! the bed is really really comfy so difficult to leave on a Sunday morning, so good we had a beautiful coffee machine for next morning that really helped to start the day! Fabulous place, would to come back. Definitely for couples!

Ensuite, l'appart est assez petit mais tres fonctionnel , propre, bien équipé , et le lit très confortable . Et enfin et surtout : le quartier !!! L'appartement est au coeur de Fitzroy, à deux pas des rues les plus cool de Melbourne , un vrai bonheur ... Merci pour tout, et n'hésitez pas .

Appartement agréable, pas très loin du centre et proche de la vie nocturne a Fitzroy. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Kate et Has, mais l'agence qui s'occupe de l'entrée de les lieux est parfaite.

We thought the apartment was cute and cosy for the 2 nights we stayed but maybe a bit small for a long stay. It's close to the trams and the area is vibrant with local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay. Kate & Has use a agency who were very helpful, friendly & informative. Would book again.

This is a small apartment in the heart of Fitzroy, suitable for anyone that wants to be close to the action. We found the apartment warm and comfortable, and communication pre-arrival to be excellent. Suitable for couples or solo visitors.

Kate and Has' apartment was in a perfect location for us - so close to all the great bars, cafes and shops in the Fitzroy area. The apartment was a perfect size for us and the design of the apartment was a great combination of cool + cosy. The bed was large and comfortable and Kate communicated quickly and courteously with me both before and during our stay. NB - there is no hairdryer. Highly recommended apartment and hosts.

Excellent pit stop when taking the great ocean road. Self contained home with equipped kitchen to cook. Has heating and hot water. Clean and welcoming for a night or two.

Melissa's spot was absolutely perfect for our stay in Apollo Bay. The space was exactly what my wife and I were looking for when we made the reservation. Even when a storm knocked out power to the town during our stay, we were able to find a torch and stay comfortable. We would highly recommend this airbnb for a couple looking for a getaway!

The host left milk, bread and chocolate for us on arrival which was lovely. Position of unit was very convenient to shops and beach.

This place is wonderful. Tucked away from the Main Street but a very short walk to everything you need. We arrived to find chocolates and all the basics we needed; it was so perfect to be able to have a cup of tea after the drive from Melbourne. The spa and gas fire makes for a cosy, relaxing little get away. We found it spotless and well equipped. Meliss was responsive and easy to contact. All positive. We've told all our friends about her great little place and hope to make it back there soon.

Lovely stay and seamless check in. Great location with the beach within walking distance, hot springs and wineries within 5min drive and 10min drive to the hub of rye. Highly recommended!

Couldn't ask for more from Gail and Brendan. When we got there, was exactly what we needed: a relaxed and comfortable stay that made us remember why it's good to be on a holiday. Their house is lovely, super comfy and very well looked after, with trees everywhere, a few minutes from the beach and with a great selection of movies, books and a few games to entertain. Couldn't recommend more: go stay at Gail and Brendan's Ocean Swells. We know we will be back for sure.

Ocean Swells is a cozy, lovely, and quiet place.We didn't have a chance to meet our host Gail and Brendan as we arrived late at night. But Gail gave us very clear information about how to get into the house. And he was very nice to allow us to check out late. We really enjoy our stay here. I highly recommend to stay here if you want to take ferry from Sorrento to Queescliff. It is about 15-20 minute drive. The only problem is that the place has no wifi and my Optus only has quite weak signal in the courtyard.

Your holiday home was exactly as promised: immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and with everything we needed to relax for a couple of days - all with the beach only a few minutes walk away. Your thoughtful touches - milk in the fridge and extra fans should they be needed - were really appreciated. Highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Gail and Brendan were really friendly on email and then we had a great chat with Brendan after he arrived. The house is incredibly neat (but certainly not sterile!) and so well setup to relax. It has everything you need to cook and sit and eat. The sound of the waves is a touch added of nature. The grassed and tree surrounds make it all round nice play to stay. We'd go again for sure
