Wonderful experience for a couple or families! The old Grist Mill serves a "Virtual" Breakfast or Lunch and we always take friends and families to this fun and special place. The food is good...
The Scenery of the State Park, the Springs, the Paddle Boats, Canoes, and there are Site Seeing Tours as well...
Children and Adults can swim in the Spring area with stairs going down into the water.... BEAUTIFUL!!!

Children and Adults can swim in the Spring area with stairs going down into the water.... BEAUTIFUL!!!
IF you like Manatees -- the colder weather months are a great time for sightings of these majestic creatures.
There is a scenic trail along the spring and takes you to the main boil. There is a gift shop and a nice area for lunch and outdoor grilling for family
IF you are a Scuba Diver... this is an interesting dive... DO NOT GO PASSED the 'Grim Reaper" sign if you DO NOT HAVE Cavern Certification at a minimum. This becomes a technical dive in a First Magnitude Spring. I have completed the dive to the private room at the bottom of the Spring. This requires training and is a technical dive.... this spring has taken lives of some of those who do not respect the training required.
