Thunderclouds is an Austin favorite and we are lucky enough to have one close by. These sub's are delicious.

Hula Hut lives up to its name. You'll enjoy the many decks, tiki torches, bamboo walls, grass-thatched bars and thousands of colored lights overlooking Lake Austin. Music from traditional Hawaiian to surf rock floats out over the water. And if there happens to be a wait for dinner just head out to the Palapa bar for one of their specialty drinks and watch as the sun sets over the shores of the Lake Austin.

Great view, delicious food. Tiny bit pricey, very nice place for a date night.

Go early to this HEB because it gets crowded over the weekend. They are recycle friendly so don't forget to bring your grocery bags. If you do forget bags, they will gladly sell you some recyclable bags for $.50 This HEB has everything you need and then some.

Newer HEB has plenty to offer, including a bar where your guest can hang out while you shop. :) This HEB does offer free grocery bags in case you forget to bring your own. This HEB does get busy, but much easier to get in & out of than the HEB at 620 & 2222. If you chose to go to this HEB check out all the fine dining opening up int his area. Lots to choose from in case you don't want to cook

Cons: Pretty expensive and selection is not that great (except for Beer & Wine selection. That's is pretty good). If you are shopping for entire weekend and planning a big spread you may want to try one of the HEB's close by. :)
