Probably one of the best places and beaches around the world. You go by car or by bus to Ierapetra port and then take the one of the daily boats to Chrissi island. It's a full day toor. For information just google "tickets for chrissi island" "boats for chrissi" etc etc...

Go to Elounda and then to Plaka village, take the small boats to Spinalonga. Swim and eat fresh fish at Plaka!

Go to mainland of Heraklion to visit Matala where the hippies used to live. Go for swimming to Kommos beach, eat and drink coffee and beers at Bunga Bunga (beach bar at Kommos beach) and then go to Kamilari village and go (must do!) to restaurant Ariadne for excellent pizza and pasta! Full day tour!

Go to mainland of Heraklion to visit Matala where the hippies used to live. Go for swimming to Kommos beach, eat and drink coffee and beers at Bunga Bunga (beach bar at Kommos beach) and then go to Kamilari village and go (must do!) to restaurant Ariadne for excellent pizza and pasta! Full day tour!
